England U-19 258 for 8 (Vince 87, Root 65, Haque 3-22) beat BCB XI 141 (Stocks 3-21) by 117 runs
Scorecard

After being narrowly edged out in the youth Test, England Under-19s bounced back with a convincing victory over the Bangladesh Cricket Board XI in a warm-up match in Chittagong. It was a thoroughly dominant performance from the visitors; starting with a steady 153-run stand between the openers, Joe Root and James Vince, which was the bedrock of a competitive 258.

The England bowlers continued the good work, nipping out five of the top six BCB XI batsmen in single digits, to leave the home side reeling at 23 for 5. Only some resistance from the lower order took the BCB XI total to triple digits, though even that couldn't prevent a 117-run defeat.

This was the only warm-up match for England before their seven-ODI series against Bangladesh starting Friday.
