Well, what an abject performance. That was utterly spineless, and that would be the case if was anyone and not just Bangladesh. While they resumed with a large first-innings deficit and almost certain defeat in prospect, they had a chance to bat for a long time and gain from experience. Instead several batsmen who should know better played - and ran - as if they couldn't wait to get out of there. That was intensely disappointing and unless there is a complete change in approach it is hard to see how Bangladesh will improve. What makes it all the more disappointing is that they had performed well on the first two days.

Anyhow, it's a great win for South Africa who completed a series clean sweep, winning the Twenty20, both ODIs and both Tests. The Man of the Match is Ashwell Prince for his unbeaten 162, and he also picks up the Man-of-the-Series award,

That's all from us. A much tougher challenge awaits as South Africa are now heading to Australia before hosting a return series, and we will be covering the matches live on Cricinfo. Join us then. In the meantime, goodbye.

Another big weekend of rugby - albeit, not involving South Africa - as England try to salvage some pride against New Zealand after last weekend's mauling, and Wales host Australia. Check out all the previews, live commentary and post-match analysis on scrum.com.
