Match Referee

Another good day's work for Australia. Another demoralising loss for Bangladesh. The visitors' bowlers did an acceptable job but the batting was woeful and the old problems of going for their shots too early persists.

Ashraful: If you lose five wickets in the first 20 overs, it's very difficult to come back. They bowled very well, good line and length. Our shot selection was poor.

Clarke is full of praise for the energy in the field and from the bowlers. He is also thrilled with the way the new boys like Brett Geeves and Shaun Marsh have stepped up.

Michael Hussey is named Man of the Match for his superbly paced 85.

White to Shahadat Hossain, OUT, White gets three as Bangladesh slump to their lowest score ever. Shortish delivery outside off, tried to cut it, gets the bottom edge, ricochets off Haddin's thigh and Clarke dives forward from first slip to snaffle it inches from the ground and seal the win

Bangladesh's lowest score is 76. Can they at least top that? Last man Shahadat is in

  • Young, bubbly and vicious

Bangladesh's fastest bowler is a nice young lad who likes nothing better than to knock a batsman's block off

  • White makes most of Symonds absence

The enforced absence of Andrew Symonds has opened a door for Cameron White during the series against Bangladesh. One of the few batsmen in Australia who could match Symonds for sheer power, White's legspin will also become more important if Symonds does n

  • Geeves grateful for dad's job advice

If it wasn't for some frank advice from his father, Brett Geeves would have been toiling away in a manual labour job in the miserable, wintry Tasmania weather on Saturday. Instead, he was working hard in draining heat for the priceless reward of two wicke

  • Johnson's speed frightened us - Siddons

Jamie Siddons, the Bangladesh coach, believes several of his batsmen were scared of Mitchell Johnson's speed and he blamed their "silly shots" for the team's dismal effort against Australia in Darwin
