Well, the only way was up after two resounding drubbings, but England bounced back well and were led from the front by Paul Collingwood who took 3 for 43 and then hammered 70 not out off 50 balls. They bowled well, even though they allowed New Zealand to post 234 for 9 after being 95 for 6, and then recovered from losing both openers to ease home with three overs and six wickets in hand.
