Well, what a finish. That keeps the series alive and we now go to Christchurch on Saturday with England needing to win to salvage a draw . It was a day dominated by the bat and for the last third New Zealand always seemed to have enough in the tank to get home. But then we had wickets, controversy and it came down to the last ball.
"We were dead and buried going into the last six," Collingwood admitted. "I gambled on Wrighty and what a fantastic job he did." And some. You have to say that New Zealand will look on that as an opportunity missed, although Collingwood did say that he had no idea what emotions he should have.
Two to win, one ball remaining. Could you ask for more ... here comes Wright ...
A sad end to a really wonderful innings from How. When he came in we said he was not the man for the situation ... we were utterly wrong. As for Anderson, his bowling has been poor but his fielding all day has been awesome ...
JM How run out 139 (187m 116b 10x4 3x6) SR: 119.82
Now the batsmen have a chat ...
Another long chat ... everyone has an opinion and wants to air it. Fielders moving here, there and everywhere ... it's chaos out there!
Now, the gamble has been that this would be sorted before the last over ... but now Collingwood has to make the call ... Mascarenhas or Shah? Nope ... it's Luke Wright. Knock me sideways ...

England salvage incredible tie
Jamie How produced the innings of his life to guide New Zealand to within a single blow of victory in the fourth ODI at Napier, but in the end his 139 from 116 balls was trumped by six balls of nerveless discipline from England's rawest recruit, Luke Wrig
