- BATSMENRBM4s6sSR7.1 that was simply stunning....the slower ball cleans him up... Steyn steams in, rolls his fingers over the ball and bowls a really slow offcutter. Vincent clearly didn't read it as the ball landed on a yorker length on middle and leg and sent the leg stump back a few yards 27/21.6 Steyn strikes early.... poor shot by McCullum. The ball was fullish in length on middle and leg, McCullum tried to flick that past square leg but didn't watch the late outswing. He ended up playing an inside-out stroke which caught the leading edge and lobbed high to Gibbs at extra cover 7/118.6 the slower ball claims How this time... Langeveldt bowls the off cutter, pitches just outside the line of off stump, the ball just straightens a touch after pitching and catches How in front of middle and leg as he tries to flick across the line 68/333.4 superb commitment from Nel.... Styris steps down and tries to launch Botha downtown over long-on, he fails to get to the pitch of the ball, doesnt get the desired elevation and Nel from deep midwicket runs across, takes it running backwards, catching it on the fall. There was a bit of confusion with two fielders converging but Nel wanted it 128/521.6 played on... it wasn't a particularly good ball.... Nel gives Taylor width outside off to cut, he doesn't move his feet or cover the line and bounce and ends up getting a thick inside edge onto his stumps 79/449.5 another embarassing run-out.... Steyn bowls a low full toss, Vettori fails to push it past the bowler Sinclair goes for the run anyway and sacrifices his wicket. Steyn walks to the non striker's end and removes the bails 234/844.2 soft dismissal.... Langeveldt bangs it in short of a length, Oram backs away and tries to biff that over deep square leg, he was never in control of the stroke and ended up playing far too early. The top edge lobs up for a long time and lands down Smith's throat at midwicket 184/648.4 Mills slips.... Mills plays it back towards the bowler and attempts a run which wasn't there. Mills runs, then is sent back, slips and falls backwards on the turn. By this time Langeveldt had already gathered the ball and underarmed it to the stumps. Embarassing for Mills 227/7Extras15 (lb 6, nb 2, w 7)TOTAL238/8 (50 Overs, RR: 4.76)Did not bat: JS PatelFall of wickets: 1-7 (Brendon McCullum, 1.6 ov), 2-27 (Lou Vincent, 7.1 ov), 3-68 (Jamie How, 18.6 ov), 4-79 (Ross Taylor, 21.6 ov), 5-128 (Scott Styris, 33.4 ov), 6-184 (Jacob Oram, 44.2 ov), 7-227 (Kyle Mills, 48.4 ov), 8-234 (Mathew Sinclair, 49.5 ov)

- BATSMENRBM4s6sSR27.3 Smith chances his arm by lofting with the turn, Vettori holds the length back on middle and leg, Smith charges down and lofts but fails to get the desired elevation. Gillespie at deep midwicket takes it easily 173/131.4 sudden rush of blood for Gibbs... flighted outside off, he slog sweeps against the turn, gets a top edge, the timing wasn't enough to get the desired elevation and Kyle Mills at long leg takes it easily 187/244.1 well, well.... it doesn't come easier than that... short and wide outside off, Kallis stretches out to cut, gets a thin outside edge to McCullum 237/534.1 soft dismissal.... overpitched outside off, de Villiers gets forward and scoops that rather tamely to Sinclair at short cover. It wasn't particularly a wicket-taking ball but de Villiers only had himself to blame for that lapse 190/335.2 the arm ball from Vettori, draws Duminy forward, he fails to cover the line and ends up getting a thin outside edge through to McCullum who went up in a flash. It didn't take long for the umpire to give that out as well. 191/4Extras9 (b 3, lb 3, nb 1, w 2)TOTAL242/5 (45.2 Overs, RR: 5.33)Fall of wickets: 1-173 (Graeme Smith, 27.3 ov), 2-187 (Herschelle Gibbs, 31.4 ov), 3-190 (AB de Villiers, 34.1 ov), 4-191 (Jean-Paul Duminy, 35.2 ov), 5-237 (Jacques Kallis, 44.1 ov)
