England 73 for 4 (Taylor 49*) beat New Zealand 72 (Gunn 4-27, Guha 4-11) by six wickets
Scorecard
England women romped to an emphatic victory to crush New Zealand by six wickets after rolling them for 72. From their perspective, though, it's a shame this didn't come earlier, as this match at Blackpool was nothing but a dead rubber.
Isa Guha and Jenny Gunn both took four wickets each as Rowan Milburn topscored with 15, one of two New Zealand players - with Haidee Tiffen - to reach double figures. Guha finished with 4 for 11, and Gunn was similarly fiery with 4 for 27.
Sarah Taylor stood firm for an unbeaten 49 that was made either side of a lunch break, and Gunn was on hand to help her seal the win following some early wickets. England were never in danger of losing this match, though, after a polished bowling performance.
Their fielding has been improving throughout this series, but it's too late for them. Still, they will hope to pull off another victory to cosmetically improve the series tally.
