So few alarms for India in their run chase after a tough start against Blain and Hoffmann. Scotland fought hard all day, especially to recover from 49 for 4 but India had too much class. Gambhir, Uthappa and Yuvraj all spent useful time in the middle ahead of the one-day series and the Indian bowlers put miles in the legs.
India have one more game before the seven-match ODI series, they play the England Lions at Northampton on Saturday, before the first match against England next Tuesday at The Rose Bowl. For now that is all from Cricinfo, from Andrew McGlashan and Andrew Miller thanks for joining us and goodbye.
One to win, all the fielders come up to save the single
