5.13 pm Sri Lanka have won the first match of the three-ODI series by 70 runs. Bangladesh had an excellent opportunity to win this game after their bowlers kept Sri Lanka to 235 and Nafees and Tamim added 45 for the first wicket.
Then Fernando tirggered the slide and Bangladesh lost five wickets for eleven runs, a position from which they never recovered. Fernando finished with 4 for 24 off nine overs and wins the Man-of-the-Match award for his effort.
The next one-dayer is on Monday. Do join us for that game which begins at 10.00 am. In the meantime, our coverage of the Lord's Test between England and India is currently underway. It's been raining heavily in London, tune in to Jamie Alter to find out what the chances of play are. Cheers.
