Sri Lanka win the final game of the three-ODI series by 39 runs and sweep the series 3-0. They won the Test series 3-0 too, and each of the matches by an innings. Bangladesh will be thankful that the tour is finally over because they've been soundly thrashed.
Bangladesh had realistic chances of winning this game once they restricted Sri Lanka to 196 but their top-order batsmen failed once again, like they have done throughout the tour. Tamim Iqbal top-scored with 54 and while he was batting it looked like they could pull it off. It wasn't to be, however, and his dismissal effectively ended Bangladesh's challenge.
Jehan Mubarak is the Man of the Match for his 72 off 82 balls on what wasn't an ideal batting pitch.
Sanath Jayasuriya wins the Man-of-the-Series award. He scored only 53 runs in three innings but took nine wickets, including two consecutive four-fors in the last two ODIs.
Thank you for following the series on Cricinfo. Do tune into our live coverage of India's tour of England as well. The second Test starts on Friday. That's all I have for you today. This is George Binoy signing off, cheers.

Captain Mahela Jayawardene said that it was difficult to judge how much Bangladesh pushed Sri Lanka because of the quality of cricket his team played in both the Test and one-day international series
