An apt way to end another poor batting effort from West Indies as England take a 1-0 series lead with a 79-run win. It was a fine all-round bowling display, led by Anderson, Plunkett and Broad, backed up by some fine fielding. The batting was less convincing, but in the end they had more than enough. For West Indies it was another tough day with only Fidel Edwards and Shivnarine Chanderpaul able to hold their heads high.
The series now moves to Edgbaston, in Birmingham, on Wednesday and we'll bring you all the action from there. Until then it's goodbye from Andrew McGlashan and Andrew Miller. Thanks for following the match with us. Goodnight.
