- BATSMENRBM4s6sSR9.6 Gone! full and on the stumps, Jaffer leaves this one alone and it is a big, big mistake. The ball thuds into pad and the appeal is spontaneous and vociferous. Up goes the finger. That was out. And South Africa have picked up their first wicket 14/110.5 And another! Shaun Pollock strikes! This one is short of a length and outside the off, Sehwag does not have the patience of Jaffer and he pokes at the ball. There's just a touch of away movement and this takes the ball away from the middle of the bat. The ball kisses the outside edge and lands safely in Mark Boucher's gloves. Sehwag goes and India are now two down before lunch 14/241.6 Kallis delivers another killer blow! good length delivery, right in the channel and shaping in a touch. Dravid is sucked forward into the drive and the edge is produced. Smith at second slip takes a good low catch. India four down and in deep trouble here. 110/435.4 Big one! Jacques Kallis gets the prize wicket of Tendulkar. The ball is pitched on and around the off stump, hints at going away, bounces just a touch extra. The ball takes the edge, it's a thick one and goes towards second sliip where AB de Villers gratefully accepts the chance! Pity that for Tendulkar who had done all the hard work against the quicker bowlers and then fell to Kallis! 83/356.5 full and on the stumps, in the dying light Makhaya Ntini produces a superb ball. This one comes in with the arm but pitches and straightens. Laxman plays at that - he has to - but cannot quite get the bat all the way across and behind the ball. The ball takes the outside edge, it's not a very thick one but the sound is unmistakable and India have lost a big wicket just when a good partnership was building. 156/561.6 good length delivery outside the off stump. Dhoni line it up nicely and drives hard but fails to keep it down, Pollock moves across from extra cover, drives across full length to his left and takes a one-handed blinder. A certain Mr. Jonty Rhodes would have been proud of that catch. That's the wicket they wanted - we are into the Indian tail now. 167/666.5 Nel strikes! short of a good length delivery, pitched wide outside the off stump and coming in with the angle. Kumble goes right back and shoulders arms but leaves his bat hanging low in the air - thick edge produced and Kallis at second slip makes no mistake. India seven down. 188/773.4 and Pollock cashes in! full and on the stumps. Zaheer goes down on one knee in an attempt to, well looked like he was looking to sweep Pollock. Missed the ball my miles and he is caught stone dead. Loud appeal and the finger goes up straightaway 205/873.6 that's the end of that! good length delivery outside the off stump. Deliberately bowled bit wide and Sreesanth is sucked into the drive. Ball clips the outer half of the bat and flies away towards point. Amla moves across to his left and takes a good catch. Ganguly is running out of partners here 205/979.5 Got him! Slower ball and gone! VRV Singh goes for a big heave over the leg side and can only send the ball straight up in the air. Pollock judges the catch well and settles under it to pick up four for the innings and take his career tally to 399 wickets! 249/10Extras32 (lb 15, nb 6, w 11)TOTAL249 all out (79.5 Overs, RR: 3.11, 374 minutes)Fall of wickets: 1-14 (Wasim Jaffer, 9.6 ov), 2-14 (Virender Sehwag, 10.5 ov), 3-83 (Sachin Tendulkar, 35.4 ov), 4-110 (Rahul Dravid, 41.6 ov), 5-156 (VVS Laxman, 56.5 ov), 6-167 (MS Dhoni, 61.6 ov), 7-188 (Anil Kumble, 66.5 ov), 8-205 (Zaheer Khan, 73.4 ov), 9-205 (Sreesanth, 73.6 ov), 10-249 (Vikram Singh, 79.5 ov)

- BATSMENRBM4s6sSR1.6 Gone! short of a good length and on the stumps, the ball swings in a touch and strikes pad, the appeal is a good one and Mark Benson gives it! Big wicket for India picking up Smith so early in the piece 5/12.4 full, outside the off, the sucker ball and Gibbs takes the bait! He flashes hard at the ball and the thick edge flies towards gully where Virender Sehwag takes an important catch. Another wicket for India and you have got to say they are right back in this game at this stage 5/23.6 fuller and on the off stump, the ball swings late and Amla pokes at it, the ball takes the edge and heads towards the slips cordon, VVS Laxman keeps his eyes on the ball and watches it into his hands as he takes a good catch tumbling to his left 5/37.3 Sreesanth! good length delivery, in the channel outside the off stump, drifting in with the arm and shaping away after hitting the deck. Kallis tentatively pushes forward to defend and is beaten by the movement. Thick edge and the ball flies low towards the slip cordon. Laxman at second slip keeps his eye on the ball even though Ganguly was diving across from third slip and takes a fantastic low catch. 21/424.4 tossed up, on the off, this ball holds its line, the outside edge is taken and it is a thick one, Mahendra Singh Dhoni does really well to hang on to this catch and India have got the wicket they wanted. That's the end of Ashwell Prince's innings 84/812.5 another killer blow! Zaheer gets one to kick-off a good length, well should i say the pitch gets one to .... anyway all de Villiers could do was play the 'sitting duck act' to perfection. Awkward looking defensive shot, ball clips the shoulder of the bat and spoons up towards point. Sehwag moves across and nicely settled under it. South Africa in disarray here. 33/515.2 got'm! Sreesanth is on a rampage here! good length delivery, perfect line and once again there is a hint of movement. Boucher goes for the drive. Ball shapes in late, clips the inside edge and crashes into the stumps. Another South African batsman dismissed cheaply. Just four more to go now. 38/617.1 Sreesanth - take a bow! fuller length delivery on the stumps, coming in with the angle. Pollock goes back to defend and is done in by the extra pace. Ball thuds into the pad right in front of the stumps, that's plumb and umpire Benson had no hesitation in raising his finger. 45/725.1 All over! VRV Singh is back into the attack and he gets a piece of the action. Nel goes for a big drive over the off side but only manages to get height on the ball, not distance. Zaheer runs back from mid-off and takes a well-judged catch 84/1024.5 Flat, fast, just too good for Makhaya Ntini! The ball fizzes through his defences and pegs back the off stump! That's two in two for Kumble who is now on a hat-trick! - BATSMENRBM4s6sSR3.5 gone! and it's the fuller length delivery that does the trick. Right in the channel outside the off stump with a hint of swing at the tail end. Jaffer pushes forward to defend and is beaten by the late movement. Thick edge and the ball goes straight to Smith at second slip - It's all happening here! 20/17.5 This time Sehwag makes no mistake! fuller length delivery outside the off stump. Sehwag just opens the face of the bat and runs it straight into the safe hands of Gibbs who was placed between third slip and gully. That's Nel's second wicket of the innings. 41/36.6 And he strikes in his first over to get to the 400 mark! Peach of a delivery, in the channel and shaping away - Dravid is sucked forward into the defensive prod and the edge goes straight to Boucher behind the stumps 37/216.1 gone! good length delivery, bit too wide outside the off stump and shaping in a touch. Tendulkar goes back in an attempt to drive it away through covers, ball clips the inside edge and crashes into the leg stump. Pollock with the much needed breakthrough and that's the wicket they were looking for 61/462.4 Laxman derpats! good length delivery, angled in from wide of the crease. Laxman plunges forward to defend and is beaten by the angle, ball clips the outside edge and goes low towards the slip cordon. Smith at first slip takes a good low catch to end a fine innings 218/828.1 short of a length and outside the off, Ganguly goes for the pull, that one doesn't quite bounce as much as Ganguly expected. The ball just takes a faint edge and lodges straight in Mark Boucher's gloves. The South Africans celebrate as one after seeing the back of the man who top-scored in the first innings! 119/536.3 And the procession resumes! fuller in length, drifting in with the arm and shaping away after hitting the deck. Perfect line and length - Dhoni is sucked into the drive and the edge goes straight to Boucher behind the stumps. 147/639.2 Finally Nel gets the memo! pitched up outside the off stump, a teasing delivery and Kumble goes for the drive on the up. Was a good looking shot but he miserably failed to keep it down and Prince at point holds on well to a low catch. India are seven down and melting. 148/762.6 Ntini strikes again! and once again it's the anlged in delivery that gets him a wicket. short of a good length coming in. Zaheer looking to defend on the back-foot ends up with a thick edge and the ball goes straight Boucher behind the stumps. 219/964.4 clipped away to deep midwicket, dangerous second run attempted and Singh fails to make it across safely. - BATSMENRBM4s6sSR0.4 and gone! Zaheer Khan strikes early! good length delivery, pitched on middle and off stump angling across. Gibbs goes for an expansive drives and the edge goes straight to Tendulkar at first slip. Even though it was a good ball, that was a horrible shot to play given the fact that there were only two balls left for the lunch break 0/17.6 very full, outside the off, Smith fetches that one from wide of the stumps and flashes it towards point, Virender Shewag throws himself full length to his right and plucks the ball out of the air while parallel to the ground! That is a sensational catch from Sehwag and Sreesanth now has his first wicket of the second innings. It's a big one, that of South African captain Graeme Smith 22/211.6 Got him! Short of a good length and on the off, great seam position again from Sreesanth. This ball pitches on the off and moves away just enough to take the edge. Dhoni moves well to his right and takes the catch! That's three down now and Sreesanth is really pumped up here. 34/329.6 gone! can't believe Kallis fell for the 'sucker ball', excellent stuff this from Sreesanth. Followed up the short ball with a fuller length wide delivery outside the off stump with a hint of away swing at the tail end. Kallis' eyes lit up and he went for the booming drive outside the off stump. Thick edge and the ball went straight to Ganguly at third slip. 84/480.1 It's the yorker from Kumble! Quick, on the stumps, spearing in from round the stumps and homing in on the base of the stumps. Prince has resisted well so far but even he cannot keep that out! That's a huge wicket for India and Kumble has delivered yet again. Now, surely, India are home ... 264/944.1 overpitched and on the pads, driven hard to mid-on, AB de Villiers calls for the run immediately and hares down the pitch. He's quick but Zaheer Khan at mid-on is even quicker. He picks the ball up cleanly and gets rid of the ball early, throwing underarm. Bang! The stumps are nailed and the third umpire confirms that AB de Villiers is short of his crease 120/560.3 just short of a good length, on the stumps, the ball bounces just about on leg stump and carries on through quite straight, the skid beats bat and slams into pad. The appeal is spontaneous and united from everyone in front of and behind the stumps. Up goes the finger! That's the breakthrough India wanted 164/674.3 Shaun Pollock loses the plot a bit here. He takes an ungainly swipe and a straight one from Kumble. You don't do that too often and get away with it. The ball is on the stumps, hurries through and knocks over the castle as Pollock's bat misses the ball! That's the wicket India so desperately needed and once again Kumble has provided the vital breakthrough. 231/778.3 there you go! Kumble the true master is on a roll here! Set him up nicely with the fuller length delivery and then he gets one to grip the surface and turn a bit. Nel goes back to defend but fails to make contact and ball clips the pad right in front of the off stump - loud appeal and up goes the finger 245/886.5 Ntini finally loses his patience and plays a big shot. He doesn't get hold of it. The ball spears up into the air and Virender Sehwag settles under the catch. That is that! India have recorded their first-ever Test win on South African soil! 278/10Extras27 (lb 8, nb 19)TOTAL278 all out (86.5 Overs, RR: 3.2, 415 minutes)Fall of wickets: 1-0 (Herschelle Gibbs, 0.4 ov), 2-22 (Graeme Smith, 7.6 ov), 3-34 (Hashim Amla, 11.6 ov), 4-84 (Jacques Kallis, 29.6 ov), 5-120 (AB de Villiers, 44.1 ov), 6-164 (Mark Boucher, 60.3 ov), 7-231 (Shaun Pollock, 74.3 ov), 8-245 (Andre Nel, 78.3 ov), 9-264 (Ashwell Prince, 80.1 ov), 10-278 (Makhaya Ntini, 86.5 ov)
