Scorer: M Venkat Raghav | Commentator: Sreshth Shah

10.13pm That's all from us. Hope you enjoyed ESPNcricinfo's coverage of the second ODI. See you soon for game 3, but till then, this is Sreshth Shah signing off. Bye bye!

10.06pm It's time for the presentation.

Faf du Plessis, the winning captain: These conditions are favourable a bit more. Batting second was going to be tricky, but pleased to see how we played. It was a good one-day wicket. But I'm very pleased at how we are chasing the game. We are staying positive, putting pressure on the opposition and so on. Excellent bowling effort by our boys, we kept pulling things back despite Mathews' knock. Planning and execution was good. My mental focus is on being positive, and I'm not thinking of the lack of fifties personally."

Angelo Mathews, the losing captain: "We gave away too many wickets up front. And then we lost wickets at crucial times too, so we never got going. We didn't hold on to catches as well, and while defending low scores, you need to hold on to every chance. We had a terrible day on the field. Neither did the bowlers bowl well. We were a bunch of schoolkids when it came to today's fielding. Dickwella's gone for a scan, but he should be okay. Akila is bowling brilliantly, so we do have some positives there. We are still alive in this series. My hands were tied in my knock, because we were losing wickets all the time, but pretty pleased on a personal note."

Quinton de Kock is the Man of the Match. He says: "Not sure what the secret to our success is. But yes, it's spinning less. Nice to know the work you're doing off the field is paying off. The last tour has been really difficult, and it's always challenging to bat in the Subcontinent. The pitch played the same all day. It was slower as the day progressed, but it was a similar pitch through the game."

9.56pm Smiles in the South African camp as they go 2-0 up in the five-game series. A forlorn look on Angelo Mathews and co. as they were outclassed for the second contest in a row. Back to the drawing board for them as the visitors have been better batsmen, bowlers and definitely better fielders than the hosts. The pacers set the game up today, but de Kock, Amla and du Plessis ensured it was a trouble-free chase. See you in a few minutes for the presentation.

Elijah2800: "Had Sri Lanka been more discipline in the outfield, this came could of have a different result. Need to be more vigilant & back up the bowlers more with the world cup around the corner, with batsmem scoring double centries & soon triple centries in ODI ain't no room for dropping dollies."

Philip Mitra: "Make Lakmal captain, he is a lucky guy. Stats will confirm that."

Sinthujan: "Malinga's 4 in 4 come to my mind now."

Rajitha to Phehlukwayo, no run, full on off but angling away from Phehlukwayo. Tries to drive over cover but misses out complelely

Daniel F: "@Naman, i agree. But in the previous 5 world cups they were almost always marked as favourites and failed, so I don't think being somewhat short of being ready is all that bad. Maybe not being marked as favourites takes off a bit of pressure?"
