5.51pm Bangladesh have broken the Caribbean duck. Inspirational performance from the under-fire seniors, who the board president felt weren't serious about Test cricket. Shakib made 97, Tamim batted right through to top score with 131 and Mushfiqur played a fine cameo that helped Bangladesh blast 43 off the last two overs. Then their inspirational captain, Mashrafe Mortaza, who didn't nearly travel here because of his ill wife, did the rest. Taking four wickets across three terrific spells of control to seal the deal. How change of colour does wonderful things. Is this the same side that was beaten in two Tests in little over five days?
Shimron Hetmyer was impressive, stroking a half-century, to keep West Indies alive till the 35th over, and then their chase unraveled. The last-wicket pair of Alzarri and Bishoo added a half-century stand, but that was merely to delay the inevitable. Disappointing outings overall for Chris Gayle and Andre Russell.
Tamim Iqbal is the Player of the Match for his 130*. "Test series didn't go our way, but this is the format we're most comfortable in. Good to see the boys bounce back," he says.
