8.30pm So, that's it for the series opener. It's off to Worcester next for Sunday's 2nd ODI. See you then.

The Player of the Match is Amy Jones: "It's been going pretty well recently so hopefully it can continue. We always look to go out and be as positive as possible, it was good to get another partnership with Tammy. Opening the batting is my favourite spot so pleased it's gone well. Hopefully my hundred is not too far away."

Heather Knight: "We've talked about hitting the ground running which we haven't done well as a squad. It's just about playing as individuals and improving as a team. We feel like we've got a bigger pool of players to put pressure on to perform."

"Amy Jones had a brilliant summer last year, and a brilliant winter overseas. She was desperate to get that hundred but it will come I'm sure. Katherine Brunt is the grandma of the group but still sets the tone."

"We were disappointed with 318 in the end, we want to keep on pushing the bar."

Stafanie Taylor: "It's hard to swallow. The English girls have a good batting line-up and they are a lot more disciplined as well. We need to step up, the fielding was atrocious, the worst I've ever seen us field, it's sad to say, we have to go back to drawing board and turn things around."

"We've been together for quite a while now, so we need to go into the team room and discuss what we have to discuss."

8.15pm England win by 208 runs, a crushing win, built on the highest ODI total they've ever compiled against West Indies - which in turn was built on a pair of 90s from Amy Jones and Heather Knight. With the ball they were disciplined throughout, and their spinners Ecclestone and Marsh were indomitable. Chedean Nation resisted with 42 not out, but it was a lone hand.

Marsh to Connell, OUT, wicket-to-wicket bowling, and back goes the off stump! A solid forward defence, but down the wrong line. It's been a bit of a rout!
