Kagiso Rabada: Wasn't the best wicket. When it is squatting down late on day two, you know there is a lot of work for us to do. We kept sure to keep the good intensity and make sure we do well. [On the Australia tour] You never stop learning in this game. There is always some sort of learning curve. Australia was a downer. When you play on good wickets like that, you become a better bowler. That's was I took out of Australia. We always measure ourselves on intensity, and how we keep coming back. [On Coetzee] He spoke earlier about the headband, when he crosses the line, he becomes somewhere else. It is an additive to his pace. The pace is natural but backing that up is his mentality, he just wants to give it all. [On if Rabada remembers his debut] I was playing in Mohali on a dustbowl, so I think this is a bit better. [On Markram] Aiden is a remarkable player. I have known him since the age-group level and he is a magnificent batter when he is on song. When you need him the most, he delivers. He is a BMT [big match temperament].

Here's the debutant Gerald Cotzee chatting up Mark Nicholas and Shaun Pollock: [On his debut] I had a lot of fun. Don't have many words, will cherish this win. We have an unbelievable bowling attack, just made me really calm. [On SA20] The SA20 helped tremendously with the big crowds. There is not a big crowd, but I was nervous. But the nerves were a bit better. [The headband] Just to keep the sweat out of my face. Don't want to keep removing the sweat. I am a massive Rafa fan. [On his experience] I have got a lot to learn. I am at the start of my journey. Going to Australia, and seeing how these boys operate, was great. [On Markram] He is just easy on the eye, is beautiful.

Aiden Markram is the Player of the Match: Always nice to get a Test win. On a hot day, that feels well. [Opening the batting] Pretty much what I have done my whole career. We all want to score runs, sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. I have played a lot of cricket here and to front up at home, I am glad I could do well. [On the surface] It starts off quite slower, but once the sun bakes it, the cracks open up. Quite slow on day one and then quickens up as the Test goes on. [On his runs] A bit of fortune but will take it.

Temba Bavuma, the South Africa captain up next: Feels good, we came to do just that. Big positive for us. [On the collapse] That was a crazy hour at the end. We threw the advantage and all the good work we did. We knew we had the opportunity today as we had runs on the board. The wicket did not get easier, there was variable bounce. With our attack, we are used to defending that. [On a score that would have felt comfortable to defend] Never really spoke about a score. We did not get many partnerships. At the time Aiden was there, Klaasen came in, for me 300 would have been very tough. The 250 lead eventually, proved to be a lot. The bowlers need to rest, it was a big effort from them. The batters need to get together and have that game plan. We need to do better next time.

Here's Kraigg Brathwaite, the West Indies captain: As a batting unit, only batting 100 overs in both the innings, that was a big loss. We should have batted at least 90 overs in the first innings. [On the surface] I did not last too long. Some balls were keeping low, some balls were getting bounce. It had a lot for the bowlers. But we should have done better with the bat. Our bowlers did a good job. SA batted extremely well on day one, but the bowlers pulled things back int the last session, With the bat, we weren't good enough. Today, the bowlers bowled SA out for under 120. As batters, we have to improve. We just have to come better in the next game. There is not much you can do, we can have nets. Mentally, when you get in, you have to be more clear, be more precise. We can't go practicing and change the technique. We got starts, but we did not get any hundreds, but we have to get starts and get some runs. [Bowlers] They are very potent bowlers. They did not do well in Australia, but Kemar and Alzarri and Jason this morning, were superb.

His century and 47 runs across the two innings has been the deciding factor. Jermaine Blackwood fought hard scoring 79, but that target was a bit too out of West Indies' reach. Rabada finishes with 6 for 50. He put on a monumental spell after the break and West Indies had no answers. Another match that ends in three days.

Corniel: "It's going to be hard to pick a MoTM out of Markram, Nortje, Rabada, Blackwood, Joseph and Roach. They all played well. Markram and Blackwood the only Batsmen that played with any real freedom across both innings." Markram the POTM, for me,

Ramble: "I know there are problems with the test batting of both these teams, but it shouldn't be overlooked that these are also 2 fine pace attacks in helpful conditions. This WI attack knocked over England twice at home, admittedly pre-Stokes/McCullum, but still. "

Eye of Sauron: "Blackwood's 79 is the 3rd highest score by a West Indies batsman in the fourth innings in South Africa. Dwayne Smith's unbeaten century and Lara's 86, both at Cape Town in January 2004 are the first two on the list. "
