So Australia extend their record in pink-ball Tests to 12-1 with a comprehensive ten-wicket win. Only two and a bit days of play but there was no shortage of drama. It started with Starc trapping Jaiswal with the first ball of the Test and then going on to register his best figures. It was followed by Head's whirlwind hundred and verbal volleys between him and Siraj when the latter dismissed him. And today, Cummins completed his five-for, using the short ball to good effect. The next Test is in Brisbane, starting December 14, and India have a few questions in front of them. Do they stick with the same batting order? Should they bring in one of Akash Deep and Prasidh Krishna in place of Harshit Rana? Nitish Kumar Reddy has been the only bright light for the visitors but will they benefit more from playing Jadeja, who can lend more control with the ball? All that and a lot more in the coming days. See you soon.
Pat Cummins: That's a great week. We were far from the team we want to be in Perth but this was good. Good to get a few wickets. [On Starc] He is amazing. He has done it for over a decade. So I feel very lucky and privileged. [On Head] He loves batting here. The game could have gone either way when Head went out to bat but he shifted the momentum. [On bowling under lights] The main thing was the lead. It was a pretty good time to bowl as well. The ball does a bit more under lights but the big thing was getting a big lead. [On Boland] Scotty just fitted in straightaway, like he always does. He probes with every ball, top of off. Hopefully, Josh is back next week. But even then Scotty is unbelievable. [On Lyon bowling just one over] He will jump in the ice bath, he has had a big week.
Rohit Sharma: Disappointing week for us. We didn't play well enough to win the game. Australia played better than us. There were times when we could have grabbed the opportunity but failed, which cost us the game. What we did in Perth was great but every game throws a new challenge. Looking forward to the next Test and we will see what we did well in Perth and in Brisbane too last time.
Travis Head is the Player of the Match: Nice to get some runs again. I felt like I was in good form. It's a good dressing room to be in. Pat gives me great confidence. I felt It was a great opportunity against the second new ball, so tried to get as many as I could. And I managed to get the ball rolling.
Mitchell Starc: Pretty positive win. There was lots of outside noise after the game but we left Perth in Perth. Cannot really put my finger on it. [On his excellent record in Adelaide] Nothing changes in my approach. Probably slightly fuller lengths. It [the pink ball] is more like the white ball than the red ball. We were really positive with bat and ball and got the rewards. It's nice when the ball hits the stumps. I have been learning a lot from Pat and Cummins over the last seven years or so. So I have added to my bow the one that goes away and still able to bring one back. I always had that air speed and swing but I have also been someone who leaked a bit. Developing the wobble seam helped me improve my accuracy over the years. To be able to have the longevity is putting that hard yards in that people don't always see.
Vysakh Vinayan: "Should have Opened with Lyon, he basically didn't get to do anything all test!!!"
"Final Day 3 attendance 33,184. Total match attendance 135,012," says Gnasher.
4.09pm So that is it. Australia have levelled the series 1-1 with three more Tests to go. In the morning, India resumed their second innings on 128 for 5. It took Australia only an hour and a bit to take the remaining five wickets and bundle them out for 175. Cummins picked up five wickets, Boland three and Starc two. Their openers then chased down the 19-run target with little fuss.

Prasanna S: "@Hemant - Do you think Rana should be India's third pacer next test with Prasidh and Akash Deep waiting in the wings? " --- With Gill and Rohit back, I don't think India need Rana's batting. I would prefer Akash Deep or Prasidh over him
