5.37pm As entirely expected, that is also stumps. It feels like a long time ago when Australia had started the day at 330 for 2, with Khawaja and Smith at the crease. Both were already past their centuries yesterday, and kept on adding to Sri Lanka's pain. Inglis scored a debut hundred as well, and help build Mount 654. Thereafter, the pressure of that score, and that of stumps approaching, and assistance from the pitch combined for Australia to dig Sri Lanka deep. Three early wickets, and their troubles mounted. Join us for day three, as Sri Lanka stare at a massive loss already. Until then, this is Himanshu signing off on behalf of Madushka and Raghav. See you!
Liz: "Thought I saw Marnie waking up for an over or two before stumps!"
Josh Inglis: "I don't reckon it has quite sunk in. Really special day. Something I'm really proud of. Getting a boundary first ball is always nice. I've been around this group for a while now... it's always nice to have your family around. Mom and dad made a quick dash. Hundred on debut is special, so I'm really happy."
5.32pm Oh, there is an ongoing drizzle which has intensified. So rain stops play, as the umpires ask the players to leave. Given the rain has arrived so late into the day, I would guess that would be it for today; but we'll wait for the official word.
A backkward short leg in place too
