And as the two captains receive the trophy together, it's time for us to say goodbye from the Test series and the tour as a whole. On behalf of Hemant Brar and Ranjith P, this is Sreshth Shah signing off. Thanks for joining us.
Presentation coming up.
Suranga Lakmal, SL fast bowler is Player of the Series for his 11 wickets. "Happy. I really want to win games, and bowl accordingly - that's what I like to do. Wicket was helping a bit, but I know how to bowl on such wickets. Bowl in right areas and challenging the bowlers is my style."
Kraigg Brathwaite, WI captain is the Player of the Match. "Pleasing winning the award - as captain want to lead from the front. Main thing for me was to keep it simple. Bat most balls. Made sure I had a solid plan. I could change my batting style at times, but I am confident I can score at whatever rate I choose to. Both pitches were good pitches. But happy guys didn't gave up, up to the last spell. Batting 90+ overs is great. Happy with the attitude and discipline. Happy with the attitude of the bowlers."
Dimuth Karunaratne: "It's not easy taking wickets in this series. If yo take both teams, they've done really well. Hard work from both teams. Happy how we played. Lakmal was really good, good job for us. The other seamers too. We need to improve our batting but overall happy. The fast bowlers did really well. Sometimes we were missing one bowler, but De Silva put hand up and did well. For me, the way Oshada, Pathum played, very calm. They way they batted very good for Sri Lanka's future. We were taking wickets in patches, need to improve line and length. WI Test side were really good. They beat Bangladesh away, and they were dominating the series in parts. Wish them good luck."
4.40pm Match drawn, they have decided that's that. A 0-0 draw for the series, but don't let the score fool you, it was fairly entertaining. You've got to say Sri Lanka will be happier given they are the away team and are generally struggling in Test cricket for a few series. Happy faces all around. The two captains share a moment too.
rodwell: "curators need to do their part to save test cricket, I'm disappointed" -- If it wasn't for the overs lost due to rain, this would've been a cracking chase!
