0.2 bowled 'em! Length ball around off, Mahmudul was rooted to the crease as it was angled in from wide on the crease, it pitched and straightened and found the gap between bat and pad to crash into the stumps. Dream start for Sri Lanka 0/1
1.4 is that taken? Yes, it is. And Tamim goes for a duck as well. It was a length ball around middle and off, Tamim shaped to clip it leg side with the bat well in front of the body and got a leading edge that was safely pouched diving to his right by Praveen Jayawickrama at point. Bangladesh tottering 6/2
6.4 through him and that's number four! Length outside off, jags back in sharply, Najmul goes for an expansive drive on the up and it bursts through between bat and pad. Bangladesh on the ropes here 24/4
5.1 edged and taken, out goes the captain. Length outside off, angling across Mominul, he was unsure whether to play out or leave it and ended up hanging his bat outside for the edge to be taken safely through to the keeper. terrific half an hour for Sri Lanka 16/3

6.5 vociferous appeal for lbw and given! Rajitha is on a hat-trick! Full and swinging in, Shakib looks to flick it on side but is beaten by the sharp movement back in to be struck in front. He reviews, more in hope, it seems. The bat hits the pad on the replay but there's no edge. He's struck in line. Ball tracking shows it's umpire's call on hitting the stumps and the decision stands. Half the Bangladesh side back in the hut and we're only 45 minutes into the Test 24/5
92.1 edged and that's the breakthrough! The partnership ends at 272. It was a length ball around off, Litton had a poke at it from the crease and second slip took it diving low to his right. End of a superb innings, nonetheless. Four wickets to Rajitha 296/6
92.4 edged and taken and that's number 5 for Rajitha. It was angled in on a length, shaped away after pitching close to off, Mosaddek had a poke at it with his hands following the movement and nicked it to the keeper who took a simple catch. Terrific morning for Sri Lanka again 296/7
105.5 And the short ball does the trick! This is much better directed bouncer, right at shoulder height, and Taijul just can't keep his hands down, as the ball tickles his glove on the way through the keeper. Partnership broken one short of fifty. 345/8
107.1 And the short one does it again! Angled in and Khaled can't resist raising his hands, as the ball once more just grazes the batter's glove through to the keeper. That's 4 for Asitha now, and all 9 wickets for the seamers. 349/9
116.2 full on the pads, clipped to the right of mid-on, the fielder gives chase, picks it up and throws to the non striker's end where there's a chance of a run-out on the second run. The umpire goes upstairs to check the run-out. It's really tight but the bat looks to be on the line. And it's given so the innings comes to a close with the run-out of Ebadot Hossain 365/10

25.5 edged and taken! It was a length ball outside off, too close to cut but Oshada had a slash, it went at good speed to first slip but he held on to a good, sharp catch 95/1
55.6 bowled 'em! This was generously tossed up on off, inviting the drive, Dimuth took the bait and left a gap between bat and pad, the ball snuck through to hit middle. First sign of any real turn and a massive wicket for Bangladesh 164/4
43.1 And he strikes straight away! This is the tossed up and pitched on middle, and straightens just a touch. Mendis fails to cover the line adequately with his forward defence and is rapped on the pads. This looks to be crashing into middle and leg. 139/2
46.2 he's cleaned up the nightwatchman! That was an ideal delivery. Length on off stump, straightened after pitching, Rajitha was rooted to the crease and didn't cover the line, played inside the line, and missed it completely as it struck timber. Second wicket for Ebadot and encouraging start for Bangladesh 144/3

87.5 Beats the edge, or has he nicked it?! This is a beauty from Shakib, who tosses is it up, draws Dhananjaya into the forward defence and then spins it past the edge. Some extra bounce too. Some discussion, and they decide to review. Shakib was uncertain, but the review was a good one, as there's a faint spike as the ball passes the bat. Dhananjaya has to walk. 266/5
156.6 finally the breakthrough! It was a slower one on off, Chandimal tried to blast it through the covers but couldn't keep it down to be caught at cover by a diving Tamim Iqbal. Sri Lanka lose their 6th with the lead on 100. Thew partnership ends on 199 465/6
159.5 Have Sri Lanka lost another? Skipped down the wicket, Shakib saw that and pushed it well wide of off, Dickwella missed it and Litton whipped off the bails. Did he get back, though? They check upstairs with the third umpire. They first check ultra-edge, and there's a faint murmur with the ball next to the bat. There seems to be an inside edge. And Dickwella goes. They don't even need to check the stumping because he is caught behind 482/7
162.5 they all go up and the finger goes up! Mendis reviews as an afterthought. It was full and tailing in, Mendis swung across the line but missed as it smashed into his pads. Flat line on ultra-edge. And it was crashing into middle, so Ebadot picks up his fourth for the innings. Mendis' breezy innings comes to a close 501/8
163.3 turn and bounce and taken! It was generously tossed up on off, Jayawickrama had a poke as he defended forward, it brushed the glove for Litton Das to pouch it safely. Shakib has 5 for the innings. His 19th Test five-for. And Bangladesh are one away 502/9
165.1 Direct hit! And is that the end of the innings? Yes it is! This is tossed up and driven down the ground by Mathews and Asitha insists on coming back for the second to keep Mathews on strike. But the throw from mid-off is a good one, and Asitha is well short of. 506/10

9.1 What a ripper from Asitha! Pace and bounce off a back of a length and it surprises Joy, who is not third time lucky here. All he can do is fend this off from around chest high and it's an easy catch through to Kusal at second slip. 23/4
5.1 Almost dropped again, but Kusal juggles and holds on at second slip! Joy has enjoyed his share of luck, but no such fortune for Tamim, who has to go after edging this good length ball angling away from him. He defends, but is neither front nor back, and ends giving a regulation catch to second slip. 15/1
7.2 Direct hit and is he gone here?! Yes he is! Back of a length on off, jabbed into the offside and they try to scamper a single. But there's a moments hesitation and that's enough for the direct hit at the non-striker's end to make the difference. Brilliant from Jayawickrama running in from point! 19/2
8.2 Swing and a miss! And there's a big appeal for a caught behind, but the umpire is unmoved. Sri Lanka go for a review. This was pitched up, shaping away, and Mominul goes for the drive. And yes, there is a faint spike on snicko as the ball passes the edge. Rajitha finally gets a richly deserved wicket. 19/3
20.3 cleaned him up! It was a length ball around off, kept a tad low and skidded on to Mushfiqur who was late on it as it went under the bat and crashed into the stumps. Massive, massive wicket for Sri Lanka. They are half way there 53/5
47.5 that's an absolute blinder and Sri Lanka have struck. It was a length ball on off, Litton chipped it back to the bowler , Asitha changed direction in his follow through to dive low to his right to complete an excellent one handed catch 156/6
51.1 gloved and taken, and it's the massive wicket of Shakib al Hasan. Sri Lanka are into the tail now. It was a short one at the body, Shakib fended at it awkwardly, neither pulling it nor leaving it, and gloved it to Niroshan Dickwella who pouched it gleefully 163/7
54.1 they all go up, the finger goes up! Mosaddek reviews this. It was a length ball on middle and leg, Mosaddek tried to help it along behind square but missed, and it struck him seemingly in front. There's no bat involved and it's hitting leg. Bangladesh lose their last recognised batter. First wicket of the match for a Sri Lanka spinner 169/8
55.2 big appeal and given lbw. It was full and straight, he looked to clip it leg side but was beaten by pace to be struck seemingly in front. Taijul reviews. Did it pitch on? There's no bat involved. It's pitching in line and clipping off stump. That's Asitha Fernando's five-for, his first in Tests 169/9
