Commentator: @Vishal1686
Alzarri Joseph is the Man of the Match, his second in as many matches: "Relieved about the win but it's a team game, we all put in the effort. The wicket was a bit more even than the first game, so I assessed early and bowl to the plan. As I said in the first game, we have full support from the captain. We wanted to bat sensibly and get to the score. When I went out to bat, there were a lot of balls to get there and I was looking to play ball every ball on merit. The win means a lot to everyone, but it's not finished, we have one game to go."
10.05pm That's all we have from this epitome of a nail-biter. the third ODI is a dead rubber now. Thanks everyone for tuning in, and to West Indies and Ireland for drilling it with drama. It's goodbye from Vishal and Alagappan. Ciao!
Noman: "It's 6AM here in Dubai and I'm watching this epic match, what nail biter. Credit to Irish players for the fight"
John: "Was the run out really that inconclusive?" It was very very close, the commentators Ian Bishop and Niall O'Brian agreed that it wasn't conclusive and I think the umpire wouldn't have been wrong to have gone either way.
9.49pm Such drama, so many mix-ups, there was comedy too, a close run-out call, horrible confusion and nerves, and all this in the last over. In the end, West Indies take the series. Some of the West Indies players have stormed out to hug Walsh and Cottrell, Pollard is walking out casually like he's on some Trinidad beach. Let's not forget Walsh's contribution here, he stayed very composed till the end (except denying that second on the fourth ball) and eventually too them through. West Indies' tail also showed the fight they needed for that one-wicket win.
Ireland's bowlers has a very impressive day, they were accurate, they didn't give many loose balls, kept taking wickets, but towards the end they conceded a few too many extras that cost them.
Alex97: "As a windies fan i would say ireland deserved this win... heartbreaking "
Phew, that seemed like an eternity . Walsh on strike
