1.35pm: Signs of purchase for spin in that match (which actually undid the home side in their chase). But it might well suit the Rocketmen, who also start their campaign against Brave in just under an hour, and will field a certain Rashid Khan in their XI. Matt will be firing up commentary shortly, so head over and join him for the build-up

1.30pm: Comprehensive win in the end for Brave, who recovered from 57 for 5 in their innings and then strangled the Rockets chase with Shrubsole marshalling her attack brilliantly. Nat Sciver could have taken it away but Lauren Bell claimed the key wicket at a pivotal moment; Bell picked up 2 for 23 from her 20, while Shrubsole and Wellington both conceded less than a run a ball. Still 130 remains a competitive score for the women

Hero of the Match is Stafanie Taylor: "Thought we did pretty well. Anya and I batted deep and got the team to a decent-enough total. We said we had to go hard at the end, but wanted to keep ticking over the strike. [Struggle for strike] Sometimes it's hard when you just come out, takes a while to get going. I trust Anya, so it was easy. Our fielding was great, we had to put that in to defend this total. [New team?] Most of these girls I know from Southern Vipers so that makes it easier."

Shrubsole to Bryce, OUT, hits the off stump, Shrubsole finishes it with her fourth and raises a fist triumphantly! Slower ball, I think, dipping under the cross-batted swipe. Brave's captain finishes with four-for, and the Rockets have been downed

Kathryn Bryce to face the 100th

Shrubsole to Graham, OUT, slogged high into the leg side, and well held! A third wicket for Shrubsole, hit-out-or-get-out time for Graham but it took a good running catch from Wyatt at deep midwicket

"Horrendous batting performance," huffs Mike, "Brunt's innings buried any chance of winning this game, unsure who promoted her up to No4"

Shrubsole to Glenn, 1 run, pitched up, good connection on a drive through cover, just one to the boundary rider

Sarah Glenn is out at No. 7. Almost all over for the Rockets

Shrubsole to Freeborn, OUT, full and straight, up goes the finger! Freeborn just couldn't get the ball away, she was looking to ramp this but missed and was hit bang in front of middle and off

Shrubsole to Graham, 1 run, length ball chopped into the covers, just a single

Anya Shrubsole to finish, nothing less than five boundaries needed by Graham
