5.20 pm Once again, Welsh Fire pay for a dropped chance when Mandhana was on 26 and she goes on to finish unbeaten on 61. Even if they had taken that catch though, Fire looked severely overmatched.
Today's Match Hero is no surprise, Smriti Mandhana: "In the field the wicket was slightly slow but when we went to bat I found it was a good wicket to bat on. I took the first three or four balls to see how the wicket was playing and then just tried to play my shots. Today was all about the bowlers and fielders, not the batters. Setting 110, our bowlers and fielders were great. Lottie has been great as a head coach. She's been in touch with the last month and when I came into the setup I didn't feel it was something new and felt I already knew all of the girls. Last two games, we just batted, bowled and fielded really well. I think the whole team has been great and I hope we keep going and reach the finals."
That's it from the women's match. Stay tuned for the second half of the doubleheader with the corresponding men's sides getting underway in a bit. You can flip over to that feed to join Andrew Miller and myself on commentary. That's all for coverage from this match. Take care!
