Thanks for joining us for the coverage today and it's a good night from Kate, Chandan and Vairavan as well. Please do join us for the next match on Friday

Timm van der Gugten is the Player of the match: It was a tight game and we held on for a tight win. It was a tough wicket to start on and we started well but lost a few wickets. We always felt we were one wicket away. A good over here and there ( could've swung it our way)

Balbirnie:We were in driver's seat with four overs to go but it didn't go our way. It was a total we should've chased. We should turn it around in the next game. It's a quick turnaround and we should back ourselves. They were slightly better today and hopefully beat them in the next game

Seelar: This game had a bit of everything. Hard fought. Very pleased with the win. Stirling's wicket was important. McBrine gave us a couple of chances that didn't go to the hand. The lower order played well for both the teams. We are pretty down to earth and know that it's not over till the end of the third game

Till Stirling was around, Ireland were ahead of the game. His wicket was the turning point and what a bold decision by Pieter Seelar to bring himself on in the 47th over? He took a couple of wickets and decisively turned it Netherlands way. What a bowling performance by both the teams. The lower order rallied around to score a few runs

van Beek to Little, 1 bye, fuller ball outside the off stump. Little looks to repeat the scoop but misses. They run a bye. Netherlands win the game by one run and get 10 points. In hindsight, the shot seemed a little confusing as the fine leg was back on the fence. Maybe he was looking to get a couple and take the game into the super over. Heart breaker for Ireland and Netherlands make a successful start to their World Cup Super League campaign

van Beek to Little, FOUR, fuller ball outside the off stump. Little skips to the off side and scoops it. A misfield by the short fine leg allows them a boundary. Getting closer are Ireland

van Beek to Simi Singh, 1 run, OUT, short ball on the stumps. Simi pulls and looks to retain the strike by taking a couple. The throw from de Leede is close to the stumps and it does matter a lot in the end as Simi's bat was raised above the line and glove was grounded, but it was behind the line. Superb throw and the keeper whips the bails off

Simi Singh run out 45 (112m 69b 4x4 0x6) SR: 65.21

van Beek to Simi Singh, 1 wide, wide down the leg side. Seems a harsh call as Simi looked to get to off side and scoop it

12 runs required off the final over! The last ODI between these two teams was a tie.
