7.5 another premeditated reverse sweep results in Gunathilaka's downfall. Fullish length ball on fourth stump, Gunathilaka is late and the ball comes off the glove with a carom that sends it toward third man but the bat drags the ball back into off stump on the follow-through. Peculiar dismissal but Hasaranga won't mind. The only explanation for Gunathilaka being so determined to reverse sweep against the turn is a gap left open behind point. Good captaincy from Thisara to sucker him into losing his wicket. 58/2
3.3 oh Chadwick.... Length ball on sixth stump, Walton tried to muscle this over midwicket instead of going with the width through the off side, results in a top-edged skier over the off side ring and taken with palms facing into the chest by Hasaranga. 24/1
11.2 the slog sweep finally brings about Azam's downfall. He'd already survived two lives but not a third as he can't get the elevation despite clocking this very cleanly and powerfully. Dhananjaya de Silva is there to intercept it at waist height standing two yard in from the rope. Probably would've careened over easily for six if he placed it 10 yards to the left or right of the fielder. 79/3
13.1 short on the legs, poor ball and it fetches Olivier a wicket. He picked this up off his hips and whipped it flat in the air toward deep fine leg. Not exactly positioned there for that shot but effective nonetheless as Binura Fernando makes up for an earlier drop taking a sharp catch with the ball whistling in fast at head height. So much steam on it he tumbles backward while holding on. 92/4
13.3 short on the legs, pulled flat to deep square leg to de Silva. Couldn't have picked him out any better. People are going to look at the scorecard thinking Olivier has been unplayable but he could easily be 0 for 35 by now. Just poor placement to some average bowling but captain Thisara and Olivier won't mind. 93/5
17.6 good length ball on fourth stump, Afridi tried to tickle this behind point to keep strike but instead it kisses the edge of the open face of the bat and goes through to Moores for an easy catch. One of the more peculiar four-wicket hauls you'll ever see as Olivier claims another wicket off his final ball, but not before a spanking at the hands of Boom Boom is complete. Uproarious cameo comes to an end. 155/6
19.6 yorker on fifth stump, can't get bat on it. They try to scamper a bye but Moores relays to Abbott over the non-striker stumps and Jayasuriya is not quite alert enough to run after his swing and miss. Bails are taken off with Jayasuriya 10 yards short. 175/8
18.6 length ball again, Amir tries to club this over the leg side rope but instead top edges this straight up. Moores run forward with the gloves and takes a simple catch, calling off the bowling captain Thisara in the vicinity of short square leg. 166/7

3.2 Amir strikes back next ball! Bowled a touch fuller on a good length and tighter to the stumps, but this time Bhanuka stays rooted to the crease with a tame flat-footed flick across the line, thin toe edge goes through to Azam Khan behind the stumps who roars his appeal immediately. Amir joins in and after a long ponder, the umpire raises the finger. Must have hit it because Bhanuka walked off without reviewing. 35/1
7.4 top edged pull lands safely (just!) in the hands of Afridi at deep midwicket. Shiraz dragged the length back and corrected his line from the previous ball getting it on the stumps, Moores tried to tonk it over the leg side rope but beaten by a touch of extra bounce. Afridi had to battle with one of his teammates, Milinda Siriwardana, over the ball settling on the boundary, but the Pakistan legend comes down with it in the end, doing well to avoid a nasty collision in the process. 66/2
