0.5 you've got to be joking. That is an absolute rubbish ball. A long-hop down the legside, but a cutter - he's rolled his fingers over that one. It's the kind of ball that if you got during throwdowns, you'd ask the thrower to please send some proper ones. Dickwella tries to flick this to fine leg off his waist, but plays the shot too early (fooled by how slow it was) and the catch pops up to Dinesh Chandimal behind the stumps. 3/1
1.2 Stirling's rough start to the LPL continues. This is another slower one (103kph), and Stirling aims a legside heave at this length ball on the stumps. He's through the shot early though, and he miscues it to short midwicket, where Thikshia de Silva dives forward to juggle and then eventually hold the catch. Awful start for Viiking here, who are increasingly looking like they need Shanaka and Samit Patel - their two best batsmen so far - to do a lot of the heavy lifting 3/2
8.6 reward for an excellent starting over for Chameera This is back of a length right over middle stump. Tharanga tries to pull this over midwicket, but the ball again has hurried on to him and he hits that high in the air off the splice of the bat. Andre Russell lumbers around from midwicket to get under that catch. 74/3
10.3 he gets awicket with the worst ball he's bowled so far. This is a slower ball - almost a legcutter - down the legside and Samit Patel tickles that through to the keeper. That's the second time in about an hour that a Viiking batsman has perished down the legside. That's a vital partnership that Chameera has broken, if a little fortuitously 82/4
18.6 Caught by Russell at mid on I think. Broadcast is still fuzzy. 162/7
14.5 slower ball, length delivery, following Angelo Perera as he backs away to leg. The batsman tries to heave it over the legside but because this is a back-of-the-hand slower one, it kicks off the pitch a little bit and Perera top edges it. It goes high in the air towards point and Dinesh Chandimal has time to run over with the gloves and pouch it 120/5
17.5 that's a wicket created by Russell's angle. he's bowling around the wicket from wide of the crease, and getting some decent yorkers in. Anwar tries to slam this over long on as well, but doesn't get much power behind it and the ball settles in Qais Ahmad's hands just short of the boundary 149/6
19.5 fullish outside off, and drilled straight back at Russell, who takes a straightforward catch in his follow through. This was a wide yorker that Pulina tried to shuffle across and get underneath. But he's not hit that well at all. Russell's having a big impact here with the ball. Excellent death bowling 175/8

19.6 Colombage tries a very ambitious scoop off the last ball, but the ball goes off the inside part of the bat and balloons up to Isuru Udana at short fine leg, who doesn't have to move far to gobble it 175/9

0.1 wicket first ball. What a catch from Samit Patel, diving away to his right, sticking out the big paw, and plucking the ball inches from the turf. He'd bowled it slow through the air, and got it to grip and turn away from Chandimal, who was looking to whip it past mid on off the back foot. But the ball stops in the pitch and Chandimal is through the shot early. It pops up to shouts of "Allanna allanna "from Dickwella, and Patel makes the breakthrough. 0/1
12.6 Pulina makes the big breakthrough. This is speared in again from the legspinner, and once more Evans is trying to heave this over the legside. Again it passes under his bat, and this time clatters into the off stump. End of an excellent innings, but another big blow for Kings 95/6
1.4 Rajitha gets an early breakthrough too. This is fullish, on the pads, and Thikshila plays a clicked pick-up shot over the legside. He's not placed that well, though, because Paul Stirling is out there at deep midwicket, and he barely has to move. Gobbles it up, and Kings are two down early. This might test their batting depth yet. 11/2
5.3 big wicket! Anwar gets Mathews with a back of a length ball pitched just outside off. Mathews tries to bash this over mid on, but doesn't connect especially well. It goes to the fielder there at just over head height, and Kings lose their captain. That's three down inside the Powerplay. Raees comment about Mathews was true for this innings. 40/3
6.3 huuuuge wicket for Viiking. That's a shortish ball, hurrying on to Russell, who is on the back foot waiting to slam that over midwicket. But he doesn't connect well. He hits it off the top half of the bat, and sails in the air to Angelo Perera, who takes the catch just inside the deep midwicket boundary. He can't believe that's just happened. Colombage gets the biggest name in the tournament with his third ball. 45/4
9.5 another wicket! Viiking bowlers are putting on a clinic here. Priyanjan takes a risk with the required rate climbing, but Pushpakumara is not giving the ball any air, and it's not easy to get under this properly. The batsman runs down the pitch and hits it high in the air. Angelo Perera is there at long off to take an excellent catch just inside the rope, leaning over the boundary. 63/5
13.5 is that the match? Pushpakumara slows this right up, and finally gets a touch of turn. Udana tries to turn this away through the legside, as it pitches on middle and grips. The ball lobs up off the leading edge, and Dasun Shanaka is running in from cover to gobble up an easy catch 99/7
16.3 tries it a third time and perishes. This is flatter and faster from Tharanga, Qais is down the track again and ties to launch it, but miscues it. Angelo Perera runs around from long on to get his body underneath it. Another good catch for him 121/9
15.3 runs down the pitch and is beaten by a mile. Patel saw him coming I think, and pulled back the length, turned it past Prasad, who was playing a huge heave, and that's a simple stumping for Dickwella. 109/8
18.4 out now though. Anwar Ali digs this into the pitch and angles it into Chameera's ribs. He tries to hack it away to leg, but it catches him high on the bat, takes the top edge and pops up in the air towards point. Pulina Tharanga sprints in to take an excellent diving catch, low to the ground. Viiking win by 28. 147/10
