16.1 a confident appeal for leg before, and given! And after a nudge by his partner Perera, TKC reviews. It is a fair delivery, and pitches on a good length outside off while angling in, as Naveen bowled from wide of the crease. He tried to clip, but the bat face was pretty much presented full there, as the ball hit his front pad. Replays show the ball would have crashed into middle, and so TKC misses out on a hundred as Kings lose a review. A commanding knock comes to an end though 152/3
11.4 skies that to long-on! A dominating stand is broken by Vandersay. The ball was slow, and tossed up full on middle. It seemed like being the wrong 'un, as Tharanga's bat face closed in his hands, as he ended up slicing it high to the man placed at long-on and well inside the rope 110/1
15.5 change of pace again, and sent sailing to midwicket. Good length ball on middle, and he played that after giving himself room and getting his front leg out of the way. Randika seemed to be beaten by the lack of pace while he pulled, and only ended up skying that to the man placed at midwicket 151/2
18.1 outstanding catch by long-on! Vandersay the fielder there, as he has to run forward and then dive across to his right to complete the grab. Naveen bowls a slower ball, and fullish and wide of off. Perera tries to heave away from his body, but ends up ballooning it off the inside half of the bat while losing his bottom hand too. Crucial strike by Naveen here 171/4
18.3 flays away, but finds short third man! Malik doesn't last long after that reprieve. Slower delivery, which is full and a touch wide of off. Malik tries to slice that away from his himself, as he has gone down on his back knee to while trying to loft the ball. But it takes his outside edge, and is skied to short third man, who tumbles while completing the take 171/5

4.1 caught by mid-on first ball! It was a good length ball on middle and off, as DDS looked to loft that with an extension of the arms and with the full face of the bat. But all he managed was pushing that aerially to the left of the leaping fielder, who pouched it comfortably for another early strike for his side 24/3
2.4 dolly for Theekshana! What a soft dismissal. Short of a length delivery on middle, and Mathews goes down on his back knee while attempting to sweep for another one out of the ground. But the ball seemed to have come off the splice of the bat, and back to the bowler, who catches that almost out of disdain 19/1
2.5 run-out at the keeper's end, and Priyanjan falls first ball! He took a few steps down to that good length ball on middle, and tapped that toward square leg while taking off for a tight run. It was only after sliding down halfway down the pitch that he looked at his partner, who decided the run was never existing. And so the bails are whipped off with Priyanjan nowhere in the frame. A gift for Kings 19/2
13.1 and now Banton perishes while trying to swing one out of the ground! Goes for the slog sweep to that tossed up ball which is full on middle and off, and looked to play against the turn. But he ended up skying it high to the man at deep backward square leg, as Viyaskanth has his third 71/8
7.4 tries to tickle at that, but gets an outside edge! The wrong 'un from Viyaskanth, as he bowls on a shortish length just outside off. Perera stays deep in the crease while trying to push at that, but gets a faint tickle. The keeper went up immediately in appeal, and the umpire raised his finger soon too 44/4
10.1 finds deep backward square leg with his pull! It was a short delivery on off, and Chandimal hangs back deep in his crease to pull, but lands that bang into the bag of Shinwari placed on the fence, just about an inch inside it. He doesn't have to move anywhere to nab that, and Theekshana gets his second 55/5
11.2 and Viyaskanth has his say in the end! Paul tries to repeat the slog from the previous ball, but is beaten by the turn and the bounce. The ball is again flighted on a full length but is outside off, which means the line is wider than that off which he hit the six. He heaves at that nevertheless, and the turn away from him takes the outside edge to slip. Young Viyaskanth having a say in the match 68/6
12.4 looks to ramp, but gets a tickle to the keeper! Seales digs it in short on middle, and gets it to move into the batter, who tries to ride the bounce while attempting to upper-cut that, but seemed to have gloved that to the keeper, who collected that a little high over his head. Stars crumbling here, as Seales gets his second 71/7
15.1 bowled him! The slower ball does the trick. It was a legcutter, and on a good length on off, as it skidded on off the pitch. Chameera went for the clip while playing across the line to that delivery, and ended up missing it perhaps because it was bowled with a change of pace or maybe even because it didn't really get up off the surface. But anyway, Seales gets his third as Stars lose their ninth 83/9

15.5 nails the yorker, and bang! Too quick for a No. 11 that one. The ball landed right in the yorker length on off, as Naveen tried to jam his bat down but was late, as the ball angled in a touch after pitching, and struck middle and off. Seales is off in celebration, as Kings win by a massive 102 runs 91/10
