5.4 And Chaturanga's patience pays off! He's been bang on with his lines and lengths, and Nissanka's frustration tells. Looks to back away to this length ball on off and carve it over point. Only ends up chipping a gentle chance to backward point 47/1

7.3 Mendis with a jaffa! Drift, dip and turn, it's the dream offbreak to the left-hander from around the wicket. Pitches on middle and turns past a tentative forward push. Beats the outside edge and clatters into middle stump 67/2
11.3 Avishka's pained innings comes to an end! Tossed up on off, but it dips late. Looks to play the lofted cover drive but only ends up slicing it as long-off races in and completes the catch. Avishka's struggles against slow left-arm spin continue 101/3
13.3 Asalanka is gone! Kandy keep chipping away! This was tossed up on off, from around the wicket. But this one has a bit of dip, isn't as full as Asalanka is initially expecting. There's some grip and turn too, so the left hander ends up reaching for this as he looks to go over cover and only manages to slice it square as deep backward point comes in to hold on to an easy chance 115/4
15.6 Sliced to cover! This was tossed up leg, and DDS looks to go inside out. But there's some grip and turn on this leg break, which sees him only slice it straight up in the air 137/5
19.3 Holes out at long-on! In the slot on off, Omarzai swings through the line but doesn't find the middle of the bat. Straight to the man at long-on 181/6
19.6 Wicket to end the innings! Short of a length slower on on off, goes for a hack across the line and it's just sliced straight up in the air. Easily taken by Chandimal who circles under it. 187/7

4.1 Chandimal is gone! Allen is ecstatic! This one drifted in full and deflects straight off Chandimal's boot before careening into middle stump. The Kandy coach has his head in his hands, he knows how important that wicket is 48/1
6.3 And this time it's right through him! Very similar to the last one but this one is straighter. Fletcher again shapes up to cut but has to adjust late. Doesn't read the arm ball and looks to just block, but he's late on the stroke as this zips through to crash into off stump 62/2
10.5 Haris's wild innings comes to an end! And it's Fabian Allen in the action once again! Haris comes down the track as Viyaskanth holds the length back a touch, looks to hoick it over long on but ends up slicing it high into the Colombo sky. Allen sprints around from long-on and holds on to a very well judged catch 93/3
14.5 Huuuuge wicket! Viyaskanth has tossed it up, bravely, but this time it's the googly. Kamindu goes once more for the slog sweep but this time he doesn't get the connection. There's still a lot of work to do though at long-on, but DDS makes good ground and holds on to this under pressure 126/5
12.5 Viyaskanth has the Kandy skipper! This was tossed up, but it's a good length wide of off. Looks to go against spin and launch it over long-on. Ends up splicing it towards long-off where - who else? - Fabian Allen is lurking to settle under yet another catch 113/4

17.3 Fabian Allen is having the day of all days! This one is fuller, and arrowed in. Mathews looks to heave this onside and misses. On any other day this is a simply a dot ball, but on Fabian Allen Day, it ricochets off the thigh guard and clatters into the stumps 144/8
15.6 Allen you absolute beauty! Good length, pitches on leg, grips and turns to strike the top of off stump. Shanaka, the hero last time out, is gone early here as goes for the big slog across the line and misses completely 135/6
16.6 Direct hit just when they needed it! Chaturanga backs away and drives this fuller one on darted in straight to extra cover. He wants the single but Mathews correctly turns him back. The throw from Nissanka though is a bullet and Chaturanga is barely in the frame 142/7
