7.35 pm As the Bangladesh players converge around the trophy, and the banner proclaiming them as champions, it is time to say goodbye from Chattogram. The Tests get going in early February, and we would be seeing you then. Until then, I say goodbye and goodnight on behalf of Thilak and Vishal. Stick around for all reports and analyses from this 3-0 series win!

Shakib Al Hasan is the player of the series: "I think a lot of credit goes to the coaching staff and the teammates. It made it easy when I played the first game [since his return]. I always knew that I needed some match time. After the first game, I got the confidence that I needed. As the series went on, I grew more in confidence. I think fast bowlers complement the spinners well. At this point, we have a very good ODI setup, and everybody takes it as a challenge. There's a healthy competition and everybody wants to improve. At this moment, my groin doesn't feel alright, but I have to see how I feel tomorrow morning on waking up."

Tamim Iqbal: "The hunger that the boys showed, coming back into international cricket after such a long time, was appreciable. The guys had two tournaments, but the effort they put in was great. It's not great to be in a bubble, because you have your family around but you cannot meet them. I think going forward, you will have to have some players miss some series, because staying away from your family in a bubble is not easy. We wanted a hundred from our top 5, and today was an opportunity. We couldn't get that. Last two games, if we had won by 7 or 8 wickets, I would have been happier. There was a time when we had to look for fast bowlers, and we couldn't find any. Now we have so many fast bowlers, and some waiting in the wings. We had a great debut from Hasan Mahmud. That's what we have been looking for. Rubel and Taskin have also bowled really well. No complaints about Fizz and Saifuddin as well."

Mushfiqur Rahim gets the man of the match award: "When your team needs the runs most, it is good to get them. The way the players batted, a lot of credit also goes to the bowlers. In the first two matches, I didn't get a lot of chances, but today I would have loved to have stayed not out. It means everything to me, because we all missed international cricket over the last 10-12 months. All the guys have played well. We were clinical right from the start, and we deserve a lot of cricket. In Tests, they have a bit more experienced sides. The last time we won pretty easily, but they will know what challenges will come ahead of them. We have to put these performances aside"

Jason Mohammed: "I think we were a bit far off in all three games. We bowled pretty ok, maybe 30 too much. And then our batting didn't come up trumps. It was a bit challenging for us, the spinners were really challenging for us, especially in the first two games. I think that's where we faltered a lot. It's something that can be rectified, with our full-strength team, it's a pretty good batting lineup. Once our main players are back, we can do pretty well at putting scores and chasing them. Alzarri was very good, at the top and with the death. Akeal was also very good. I think the bowlers were very good."

With this series win, Bangladesh move up to no. 2 behind Australia in the World Cup Super League standings

7.12 pm And we have another 'Banglawash'! It's a good performance from the home side, make no mistake. A diffierent challenge today, inserted to bat, and their big guns all chipped in with half-centuries en route to a very good score of 297 on this pitch. West Indies, well their misery with the bat is highlighted by the stat that not a single batsman has made a 50 for them in this three-match series, the first time that has happened for them in a three-match series. They looked good to last 50 overs thanks to the late resistance from Powell and Reifer, but they are eventually bowled out with a whopping 120-run gap between the two teams!

Tamim Iqbal has been very good in his first full series as captain. Extremely pro-active with his bowling changes and field placements, and batted with a great level of consistency to set the tone for his team. All the Bangla bowlers in this series have had impressive spells of play. The only concern would be about the fitness of Shakib Al Hasan, who limped off without having completed his fifth over today. We should get some inputs and news on him soon at the series presentation.

Taskin Ahmed to Reifer, OUT, Taskin gets a wicket! Short, and he looks to rock back and swing this away towards the on side, but gets a top edge. Taskin plucks the return catch, as it hurries back on to him

Verns: "It will be interesting to know if any of the folks who make excuses for West Indies cricket, players and management are actually West Indians. If you're not a West Indian then I am sorry, you really can't relate to the pain of a true WI fan from the West Indies. To the person who spoke about WI being the most travelled team and the bio bubble, do you think that if the IPL calls those same players now they will make themselves available? We all know the answer to that question. We must man up and stop the excuses for pathetic and shameful performances, we must acknowledge that this is unacceptable. It's the only way we can move forward."

Taskin Ahmed to Reifer, no run, short, and he goes back to defend this. Takes his bottom hand, as it probably hits him on his glove. Shows no emotion as he walks away after it drops by his feet

Mohammad Saifuddin to Harding, 1 run, fullish, and he is able to work this somehow off his pads towards fine leg. Searching for the yorker, but just not able to nail it to perfection

Three for Saifuddin, who has bowled well through the day, even though his first spell with the new ball was a touch on the expensive side. Has threatened throughout, and picked up wickets in subsequent spells

Bangladesh may actually escape any kind of censure for the slow over rate, if they bowl West Indies out here

Mohammad Saifuddin to Hosein, OUT, good catch by Rahim? There's definitely an edge, and Rahim has got to the ball, and the soft signal from the umpire is out. Let's see if that carried or not. Good ball, decent pace, and forces Hosein to have a little nibble. Good, low catch to his left by Rahim, who has overall had a good day
