Presentation coming up
Temba Bavuma: "Looking at the way we started, lot of people would've written us off. But fighting effort from the rest of the batters. Miller, of course, but we knew if our bowlers hit their straps we could defend any total. Miller has been short of runs, he will admit it, but we always knew something like this was around the corner. The replacements have been chomping for an opportunity. Beuran has been with us on a few tours. Good to see Bjorn show what he can do with the ball and Wiaan is a young guy with massive potential that we wish he can fulfil."
David Miller, the player of the match: "Nice to contribute, very chuffed. Wickets lost up fronts never help. Wiaan batted beautifully, showed what he's learnt over the couple of years. Good rebuild, and then explosion at the end. Spinners have been phenomenal. Blessed with Shamsi, Bjorn and George. It's a good problem to have since you can't necessarily play all of them. T20 World Cup is obviously the goal and we are building nicely but we are going game by game."
Andy Balbirnie: "Disappointed with the bat again. We didn't apply ourselves. Bowlers did well. Spinners bowled well, really good operators. Stirlo's two wickets were a bonus. But it was just a batting thing, we want to bounce back. Gives us an opportunity to play against a really good team. We are building towards the T20 World Cup, of course, but want to play good too."
Another batting collapse from Ireland in their chase, and that means the third game in this series is a dead rubber. Both sides were at less than 60 for 5 in their first ten overs, but Miller's 44-ball 75 and Mulder's 26-ball 36 took SA to a total that was eventually defended comfortably. Ireland will be disappointed that they let South Africa crawl back into the contest after the visitors lost four of their top five for single-digit scores. A solid day for Shamsi and Fortuin - the two spinners - as well, each taking three wickets. Ireland wll also be disappointed with Kevin O'Brien's form - who now has three consecutive ducks in internationals.

Like the Rabada batting cameo in the first T20I, how important was that 24-run over that Miller hit in this game? Of course his whole innings was brilliant, but those 24 runs made this target just that much more tough

good length, outside leg stump. Looks to hammer it over the leg side, but the ball goes under the bat to the keeper
