Presentation time:
Asghar Afghan: It's good to win both games so our morale is high. We have different plans depending on the wickets we lose, so today Karim and Ghani played really good.
Nabi is the Man of the Match for his 40 off 15 and 2 for 20: The position at that time (when I went to bat) was only five overs left and there was a spinner now so it was good. The pitch is very good for batting, we needed that score for the team otherwise 160-170 was chaseable.
Williams: Very disappointed obviously. I thought we started off well. Opening from our bowlers was really good but those two overs for more than 20 runs hurt us. And losing four wickets in our powerplay was also a big blow. We need to look at our shot selection, it wasn't good and we need to look at things. It's important how you get back up, winning from here will be a huge change for us. It's been discussed (me or Raza opening), it's a possibility we'll have to see how that goes. We have to see some power hitting especially at the end of the innings.
That's all we have from this game, there's one to go tomorrow so don't forget to join us for that. Until then, it's goodbye and good luck from Vishal Dikshit, and Binoy George. Firdose's report will be up here anytime...
5.20pm By 48 runs in the first T20I and now 45 runs in the second game today, two comprehensive wins from Afghanistan to take this series home, with one game left tomorrow. It was Karim Janat's batting show that set up the platform for Nabi's cameo in the end for another near-200 total. Ngarava was the pick of the bowlers today, with his powerplay spell of 2-0-3-1 before he leaked a few in the end. Zimbabwe, in the chase, saw a lot of soft dismissals in their chase, otherwise they had put on 54 in the powerplay but for the loss of four wickets. Ryan Burl had a really good day against Rashid Khan (21 off 10 balls with three sixes) during his 40 off 29 but that only delayed Afghanistan's win as the asking rate rose. We'll have the presentations coming soon...
