7.50pm ps: "@Jim F: care to share with the rest of the class what exactly was said on air about our friend Matt?" It was this lovely piece on Phil Salt by Matt Roller that was being referenced... A fifty in one match, a duck in the next, you'd like to think we'll have another chance to see Salt in action in tomorrow night's finale. With that, I'll thank you for joining us from Matt, Thilak, myself and our entire team and we look forward to welcoming you back tomorrow!
7.40pm West Indies skipper Kieron Pollard tells the host broadcaster: "It was a game of two halves, it spun in the night, it didn't spin in the day. I believe in the back end of the [England] innings is when we let it slip. It's going to be a good shoot-out tomorrow night."
Player of the Match and acting England captain Moeen Ali says: "We batted really well especially at the top and finished really well the last three or four overs and then bowled brilliantly throughout. Rash, Toppers in particular again with the new ball and then at the death, what we were looking for, I thought we were outstanding... That's the thing we're really proud about tonight, the death bowling was fantastic, and I think they'll take a lot of confidence from that."
7.25pm Well that sets up tomorrow's final match nicely. England seal victory by 34 runs in a dominant performance led by Moeen Ali with bat and ball, a half-century and 2-28. Moeen's fellow spinners shared the spoils with Liam Livingstone's 1-18 and Adil Rashid's 1-28. Reece Topley chiming in with one for the seamers and bowling a tidy over at the death.
Jason Roy set the foundation after a slow start to reach his fifty before Moeen's six-hitting showcase propelled them on. West Indies failed to produce the type of batting that had served them so well in the series, struggling against the spin and, despite bright knocks by Kyle Mayers and Jason Holder, they were without the big, dominant innings they needed.
It's two all with one to play!
Paritosh Jain: "This was a complete performance from England after a while. Great to see them back at their "number 1 side in the world" winning ways ".
Ziyad: "Moeen Ali is a fairly decent cricketer i reckon".
WI need 38 off the last over...
