10.05pm So Knight heads off to claim two trophies in one hit... and three out of four all told, with a share of the Test match to boot. It's been a fabulous performance to finish a compelling series. Heather Knight "Really pleased with the girls, we talked about being ruthless so really pleased for Danni, for her to perform like that was outstanding. She hasn't scored as many runs as she would like but she got her head down and backed her game, scoring boundaries and being a whippet between the wickets. It's brilliant to have that Test match, it gives you narrative throughout the series, we're not had it easy, we've learnt some stuff, and been in restrictions too so pleased with how the girls have stuck at it. Very close to where we want to be, want to build into our year with a squad of competitive cricketers."
The Player of the Match is Danni Wyatt. No surprise there. "About time, I really enjoyed batting out there tonight, Nat Sciver was exceptional but it was my night tonight, beautiful pitch, nice and skiddy, hit nice and straight and over cover, and it came off. Always pressure, but got to embrace it and do what I do best, and enjoy it. Enjoy life off the pitch as well. Nat's really shown everyone how amazing she is, and the way she's bowling as well, she's a legend.
The Player of the Series is Nat Sciver. "This series was really important for us, to perform like we did tonight, and the bowlers did an exceptional job. Danni batted how we know she can bat, it's been such a long time since we've seen it but she worked really hard. Bowling is tricky, and something I've been lucky enough to do for a few years. It's a batter's game so having some swing is really important. The way I played in the first T20 I'd love to play more like that, I'd love to play like Dottin, it would be fun. Hitting more boundaries and sixes is something I'm keen on doing.
Harmanpreet Kaur "We are very happy the supporters have come each game, there's disappointment, 30-40 runs extra would have made a difference. Someone has to take the responsibility, but we are working on that. We want our young players to take that responsibility. When you play a [multi-format] series like this you always feel you can bounce back. A great thing to do."
9.51pm Sampath has the stat: Three of top seven knocks in Women's T20I chases have been scored by Wyatt (including 2 100s)
And Sampath has another stat... England women's 50th T20I win at home, the first team to win 50 home T20Is
9.45pm So that's the end of that, a squeeze of the shoulder from her skipper Knight as Wyatt takes the plaudits. A magnificent innings of 89 from 56, and though it got tight in the penultimate over, it was a sprint to the finish in the end. England take the T20I series by 2 games to 1, but more importantly, they've wrapped up the multi-format series by 10 points to 6. Their dominance of the draw in the Test match epitomising the competitiveness of the tussle, but also the slight edge that England enjoyed throughout.
A share of the series would have been a hell of an achievement from India, and they got mighty close despite a big loss in the decider. If Reddy hadn't been injured, it could have been tighter, but Nat Sciver's 42 was a perfect counterweight to Wyatt's free-flowing hitting. And a word from Smriti Mandhana too, her 70 was superb in India's 153.
SteveO: "England too good. Fantastic performance. India are still a long way behind the top teams at the moment" Closing fast, if you ask me. Shafali Verma is a gun, and Richa Ghosh is only going to get better too. The future's bright!
ajay singh: "catch lost by Verma in the beginning cost the match to India" Well, it didn't really did it? Beaumont went soon afterwards.

Giggity: "Don't give up the hopes yet. Couple of good overs now and an equation of 9 off 6 might get tricky." Hmm...
