5.35pm: That's a wrap for today, just as England tucked this game beneath their arm and sauntered off with the points. Annesha Ghosh's report should be your next port of call, and stick around for more from the ground from Valkerie Baynes. We'll be back to do this again in a couple of days, as the teams move on to Taunton. Thanks for your comments, from myself, Varun and Ranjith, it's cheerio for now. Bye!

5.25pm: Time for the presentations, then. India captain Mithali Raj: "I think we lacked intent in all three departments. Could have had another from the top five stay there and get some runs. The bowlers could have been more consistent in their lengths, and our fielding needs a lot more effort. [Dot balls?] Something we need to address by the next game. England have a very experienced bowling attack, they are in their conditions and know which lengths to bowl. We'll come prepared and show a bit more intent next game. Thought our seamers would be effective, but other than Jhulan Goswami the other two couldn't find their rhythm. We'll look at the composition for the next game, maybe bring in a spinner. [Changes to batting?] We'll look at that as well."

England captain Heather Knight: "It was really clinical, Katherine and Anya set tone with the ball. Bit more pace in the pitch this time so we managed to go to some of our short-ball plans, [they were] more effective than in the Test. To finish it that so clinically was a good day at the office. [Short balls?] Was a plan, we felt the pitch had the pace in it to be effective, something they aren't so used to playing in India on slower wickets. Bowlers have worked on it, getting options for different pitches and different scenarios. [Verma-Brunt battle] I was getting my popcorn out at extra cover. Really exciting to see youngsters coming in and the two opening bowlers holding their nerve and winning that battle. It's set up to be a lovely series. I think it was a brilliant cricket wicket, bit in it for the bowlers but a very good batting pitch. [Sciver fastest to 2000 ODI runs] She whacked a few today. Brilliant to have Nat in our side at No. 4, scores quickly, lovely to bat with and her record is remarkable. [Beaumont] Carried on form from NZ, she's a rock and brilliant to see her doing so well. [Ecclestone and Glenn] Seamers did a brilliant job and those two dry it up, worked in tandem. Sophie coming back at the death is her bread and butter. Putting in consistent performances and winnings games of cricket for us."

Tammy Beaumont is named Player of the Match: "Thought it was a good wicket, our bowlers did a fantastic job to keep them to that score. Once you got in it was really nice to bat on. [Playing spin] When it's skidding on they're shots you want to play, don't want to go across it. Nice how it came off, keep hitting it on the floor, create a few challenges. [Partnership] Great batting with Nat, she scores so quickly if I soak up a few dots it doesn't matter, at some point she'll unleash. Great to put those partnerships together. My role is to bat as long as possible, let the others play the attacking strokeplay. So much talent and competition for places, those in possession have to keep performing."

5.15pm: Well, that was pretty brutal. England go 1-0 up in the series, and take a 4-2 lead in the multi-format points standings. We knew India were probably under par, but now we know by how much - England would have fancied chasing 300, the way they were going there. Unbeaten fifties for Tammy Beaumont - her fourth half-century in a row in ODIs - and Nat Sciver, as the hosts reach their target with a full 15 overs to spare. Mithali Raj and Ramesh Powar might have to have another look at the strategy, after another defeat in this format. Raj's 70 underpinned her side's batting effort, but was also responsible for setting a tempo that never threatened to take England out of their comfort zone.

Ashish: "England are in full mode of inflicting a demoralising loss. With rain around, they don't want to show any mercy on India. They are scoring the runs in a jiffy. This should open the eyes of Indian batters."
