Australia win by five wickets with a convincing all-round display are are now 10-4 up in the series. England have plenty to think about. The bowling is looking okay, but there are concerns about the batting. Another collapse today. An excellent day with bat and ball for Ellyse Perry and the chase nicely finished by Ash Gardner. The Australia spinners were also excellent in the first half of the game.
Ellyse Perry is player of the match: "Really lovely to win the Ashes...just a great day to play cricket. It's nice to get a few away early, always settles you. To finish the game to the way we did was really pleasing."
Heather Knight "It wasn't an easy wicket. You had to grind out tough runs, only Sophie and Amy who showed us how to do that. Another what might-have-been but these are the lessons we can learn before the World Cup. We'll have to find a way to address then attacking the stumps and find a way to get some partnerships."
Meg Lanning "I thought it was an outstanding effort from our bowlers. Think the wicket's a bit better than both sides showed. Nice to be able to finish them off. Darcie missed out today so it gave Pez the opportunity to take the new ball...is bowling as well as she has for a long time. We probably haven't played out best in the series but have won the big moments."
I'll wrap things up there today. It's been all Australia again. We'll be back in a couple of days for the final match. For now, from Gnasher and Sri, it's goodbye.
Muhammad: "Do you have any information on whether Darcie is expected to be fit in time for the third ODI?" Wouldn't be surprised if she is protected for the World Cup
