The margin narrowed by those late blows, but Australia win by 14 runs to take the T20I series 2-0 and the multi-format series 11-5. Make no mistake, though, the home side have been pushed hard over the last three weeks. That overall margin a bit harsh on India. A few moments here and there, a couple of close calls, a little lack of experience and some poor fielding made the difference. Is worth saying, too, though that Australia have won with Megan Schutt and Jess Jonassen, plus Rachael Haynes since the Test match.

Vivaan: "The scoreline doesn't to justice to how well India have played in this series."

pratik bakshi: "Richa just shown Wbbl power."

Ramesh Powar having a huddle with his squad on the outfield straight after the match while Australia congratulate themselves. The focus for the Aussies, and a lot of the Indians, now moves to the WBBL. Then Australia will think about the Ashes in January and February

Jack: "Bring on the Ashes later this year. Australia for the first time in a long time is kinda vulnerable. England may have a chance!"

Tahlia McGrath is Player of the Match and Series: "It's been unreal to be part of, loving wearing the Aussie shirt again. I haven't played T20 at this level before, but batting is batting. See ball, hit ball."

Harmanpreet Kaur "The result wasn't in our favour but we have good players like Pooja Vastrakar and Richa Ghosh. So a lot of positives we can take and we are on the right track. Thanks to our support staff, they really stood for us. I'm very excited [for WBBL], it's a great opportunity for us to grow as a team."

Meg Lanning "We were looking forward to today, knew India would come back hard. Been a great series, both sides have had momentum. India have really tested us and given us a great challenge. Tahlia McGrath, Player of the Series, is a great effort to dominate the series and a number of young players have contributed at different times."

Well, that wraps this up for tonight and this series. Thanks for joining us over the last few weeks. We'll be back soon. From Gnasher and Hemant it's goodbye for now.
