10.15pm Maharaj collects the series trophy and celebrates with his team-mates. That's a wrap of SA's tour of SL. Hope you enjoyed our coverage as much as we did bringing it to you. Until next time, this is Deivarayan Muthu signing off for Saurabh Somani and Venkat Raghav. Take care and cheers.

Ask Cricinfo: What is the highest opening partnership for SA in T20Is?

Trumpet: "As a devout Proteas fan, this performance is pleasing, though it's difficult to get too excited. The idea of Bavuma and Miller slotting back in will bring depth to the batting"

De Kock is the Player of the Match as well as the Player of the Series: Obviously, I've been here a couple of times and it's about making sure getting the job done. I wouldn't say I had a big break, I was just home for a week and picked up one or two skills. Just obviously body management going into the season (what are you focusing on)?

Shanaka, SL captain: First of all, congrats to the South Africa team. The bowling unit was good but batting we have to think twice going forward. Credit to South Africa bowlers as well - their spinners were outstanding. I think not many positives, but Wanindu's bowling and Chamika's energy…. Though we lost the series, we have the confidence of beating India [in T20Is] and South Africa one-dayers. The boys need where they need to step up.

Maharaj, SA captain: Yeah, I think credit to the boys. They played really well after the series loss in ODIs. We got two opportunities to chase and it's good prep ahead of the World Cup. From a bowling front, we will strive for a better bowling effort in the powerplay. From a batting front, maintaining partnerships, especially in subcontinental conditions. The bubble life has its challenges and due to the pandemic it's a new way of life. We have to find a way to get through it and it shows in the performances on the field.

9.58pm Hendricks and de Kock get together and celebrate. They've forged an unbroken 121-run partnership - the highest stand for SA vs SL in T20Is - to thump the hosts and seal the 3-0 whitewash. Captain Maharaj warmly welcomes back his team-mates. On the other hand, plenty of questions for Sri Lanka in their lead-up to the T20 World Cup. The injury to Kusal Perera has compounded their woes. Do stick with us for the presentation.

WMC : "SL batted well only in the first ODI of the tour."

Zeeshan: "@Ejaaz - bavuma can slot in as a batsman in lieu of one of the all rounders. Anyways, SA are playing with only 5 batsmen, which may not be the appropriate mix for the WC matches"

Alann: "When the visiting team outplay in your own game (turning wickets and different spinners), there are lot of questions to be asked - especially when the spinners are not at all effective in the first place and then comes batmen performance."
