3.3 fantastic one-handed catch by Liton and Bangladesh have their first. Full and angled in to Latham who flicks around his front pad, thick inside-edge onto pad and Liton's balance is to his right but he moves swiftly the other way and sticks his left mitt out. The ball nestles nicely in those big gloves. Wouldn't have carried to 1st slip had Liton not dived across 1/1
48.3 What a waste of a wicket that is. The only way Bangladesh could've hoped to break this partnership to be fair. Young flicks this to the right of mid-wicket, wants a quick single but Conway sends him back, an accurate throw right next to the bails and Liton has them off, Young was stretching to make it but the bat's on the line when one bail is off the groove completely. Young was pretty relaxed that he had made it back, but not to be. Young is disappointed as he walks back. A hundred was there for the taking but he has thrown it away 139/2
79.1 he's got him! Bangladesh jubilant. Conway hangs his head. This will sting - caught down leg side against a harmless delivery turning down. To Mominul's credit, he's really been lobbing them up. And you give yourself a chance when you do that. Length ball at leg stump, turning down. Conway looks to glance and gets a tiny edge on that that Liton is there to take. He falls an over before the second new ball. But what a knock - yet another Conway special in Test cricket 227/4
66.4 Shoriful with his second and Taylor falls after looking good. Full and sliding across him, he gets forward to drive on the rise, fails to keep it down and picks out cover. Smart low catch and Shoriful roars in delight. Much-needed wicket for Bangladesh 189/3
108.1 grabbed at short third! Mominul adds Nicholls to his haul. Tosses this up outside off, Nicholls brings out the reverse sweep but is early on it. Ends up dragging it a touch and Shadman, the man who dropped one last ball, reacts sharply this time. Reverse cup, times his jump to the right, and holds on above his right shoulder 328/10
87.3 plays on! Some late joy for Bangladesh on the first day. Blundell hasn't looked tight today at all, and his scrappy innings ends just before stumps. This is a good length ball in the corridor, he's eager to get on his toes and punch that through extra cover. But he is onto it too early. Inside edge onto pad, onto stumps 258/5
92.6 well-deserved wicket for Shoriful. He has been the standout bowler for Bangladesh in this game. Sets Ravindra up nicely and then dismisses him. Full and outside off, with away-wobble, Ravindra pushes and the edge is found, low catch diving forward by Shadman at 3rd slip. The early wicket that Bangladesh wanted and it's Ravindra who has to go 265/6
101.2 got him at long-on! Jamieson with a rather ordinary shot there. Mehidy has lobbed this up with a man back on the boundary. A pretty old ploy against lower-order batters, but Jamieson is better than that. Looks to take it on first up and doesn't come close to the pitch of it. Easy catch there, Mehidy has his first 297/7
105.4 chipped straight to midwicket! Mehidy has really tied him up to manufacture this wicket. He's been quicker and tight at the stumps to build up the dot balls. Now he gets one to dip at a length. Southee steps out and doesn't make the pitch of this, ends up handing a friendly catch to the man catching there 316/8
105.5 grip and turn. And a review for catch behind. A lovely dipping delivery from around the wicket, landing on a good length at middle and off before it turns away. Wagner forced into pushing at that one and it has taken the thinnest of edges according to Hawk-Eye. Wagner is gone first ball! 316/9

18.1 Wagnerrrrrrr! He's done it. How often does he do this? Loopy low full-toss that dips on Shadman who closes the bat-face too early in trying to flick, the leading-edge pops right back down the pitch, Wagner in his followthrough holds on with two hands low down sliding. That's the breakthrough 1st ball after drinks 43/1
69.6 Wagner has his third and that's the end of Joy. Wagner claps in delight. Joy was loose all morning - something wasn't right about his play today and he perishes. Short and angled across him, he reaches out to cut but the weight transfer isn't there, all he manages is a feeble shot which carries chest-height to gully where Nicholls tumbles backwards after reverse-cupping it. Again the irrepressible Wagner with the wicket 184/3
57.6 got him at gully! The Wagner set-up has worked once again. Four overs of banging it in short. Switches to a full length and gets his stock outswinger to move. Shanto's feet are rooted as he pushes in front of his body for this, and it is a regulation catch. Wagner, possibly at the back end of this spell, has found New Zealand a way again. A good knock from Shanto, he's done a job today 147/2
140.6 massive appeal and it's given! Mominul reviews. This looks very good for NZ though. It'll come down to whether it's too high. He's beaten on the inside edge trying to defend a length ball coming in from outside off. He's hit on the back thigh, right in front of off stump. And tracker shows that's hitting middle. That's the end of Bangladesh's captain. Falls an hour short of stumps after being an overnight batter at the start today. Long, scrappy, not always pretty today, but he's done a stellar job for his team. Boult has opened something up for his 361/5
88.2 plays all around that! Boult goes full and at the stumps, and he's rewarded. Some shape into him from around the wicket, headed for off stump. Rahim has played down the wrong line. Closes the face on this and tries to flick through square leg. The ball goes past the spine of the bat and clatters middle and off 203/4
144.5 got him this time! Boult has delivered for his captain at the very end of this day. Not a prudent shot this, from Liton. Short of a length and wide outside off, half a stride out and has a big slash away from the body. First real false shot from him today. And it's resulted in an edge that is grabbed easily by Blundell. Top, top innings from Liton 370/6
174.1 a strangle down leg and Jamieson has his first of the game. Full and swinging into the pads, Yasir gets a fine tickle on the flick and Blundell moves to his left to catch. Clear deflection and the umpire has the finger up immediately 450/8
171.3 finally Southee gets a wicket. It has taken 433 balls since his last to get this one. Short and wide outside off, Mehidy like he did in the over earlier, throws his bat but it moves away late to catch the edge and a simple take for Blundell. Southee is too exhausted to even celebrate properly 445/7
175.6 late inswing from a fuller length for Southee, Taskin flicks across the line and misses, was struck in line and Chris Gaffaney has the finger up after a thought. Taskin challenges the call but no bat and it is clipping leg-stump so will be umpire's call and he has to go 458/9
176.2 Boult ends the innings. Shoriful backs away and shows too much of his stumps, Boult keeps it simple, full and moves away late to beat the drive and crash into the stumps. Bangladesh end on 458 458/10

8.4 dragged on! Taskin is jubilant. 130.1kph short of a length outside off, Latham could've left that but defends with an angled bat, the inside-edge falls on the stumps and he is disappointed for playing at that. Rare double failure for Latham in a Test 29/1
53.3 hits the top of off! Ebadot slams his heel down and salutes, possibly in the direction of the supporters who have a Bangladesh flag. This is a short of a length ball skidding on with the angle from outside off, and he has misjudged the length. Shapes to pull but that was never going to rise, and it sneaks through from under his bat to hit the stumps. Young's momentary loss of shape has proved enough. He's disappointed as he walks back, but it's been a pretty good Test for him 136/3
24.2 just reward for Ebadot. He has bowled well in this spell, hitting the 140kph consistently, indecker on a good length, Conway gets a faint inside-edge onto pad, it lobs in front of gully who dives forward to take a good catch. Cleanly taken and Bangladesh review for both lbw and the catch after it is given not out. Technology proves them right and they get the second wicket 63/2
64.2 leg stump is pegged back! Ebadot becomes the first Bangladesh seamer to take a five-wicket haul, ANYWHERE, since 2013. Taylor is gone. He's attacked the stumps again - good length, a touch wobbly as it comes in off the seam from just outside off. Taylor pushes forward with hard hands, the way he's been doing all innings, and leaves a gap between bat and front pad. Gets an inside edge that tonks leg stump 154/6
53.5 rattles the stumps! This is a sensational over from Ebadot. Full and straight and Nicholls is almost moving slow-mo as he offers the full face to try and drive. He's beaten on the inside edge and it's that sweet, sweet sound for Ebadot who is turning this game around now 136/4
55.3 he's pinned in front of middle stump and given! And he reviews. This looks dead-set out on first look. But could it be going down? He's bowling from wide of the crease. Good length ball, slanted in towards middle stump. Raps him on the knee roll in front of middle stump. And it is crashing into leg stump! Ebadot is too hot to handle. New Zealand have lost three wickets for no runs! 136/5
67.6 got him! Taskin peels away from the pack and takes a short sprint in celebration. Ravindra did well to leave the last one, but he doesn't show that patience this time round. To be fair to him, Taskin has made sure he plays at this - it's full, there for the drive, angled into the corridor from around the wicket. But it shapes away marginally after pitching, and he can only edge this behind, a thin one 160/8
66.6 stunning catch at midwicket! Shoriful Islam leaps to his right to back up his bowling partner. Ebadot has six! Full and onto the pads, he plants the front leg down and has a flick. It's aerial and about hip height to Shoriful's right, and he leaps full stretch with two hands to hold onto it 160/7
69.3 into middle stump! Possibly off the inside edge. Low full toss, swings in with the shiny side tilted towards the stump. Southee is completely unaware. He's leaden-footed as he has a swish in front of his body. It's taken the inside edge and crashed into middle 161/9

73.4 Taijul plucks it out of thin air! Bangladesh need 40 to win. This is tossed up outside off. Boult steps out this time and doesn't look to defend. Swings across it and gets it slightly off the low part. Taijul, jogging to his left at deep midwicket, keeps his eyes right on it and then leaps high as the ball clears him - he goes backwards and to his left, with two hands, and holds on before a smooth landing. Sensational 169/10
