Well that was some performance from the West Indies batters and gauged this chase to perfection. Chasing 247 was always going to be tricky under damp conditions with ball doing more than usual but the openers had a good measure of the target and set up proper stage for the middle order to complete the rites. Logan van Beek bagged two in two in the 24th over and had glimmer of hope of bouncing back but the centurion Shai Hope and Brandon King steadied the ship, saw their team home and bagged 10 important points.
Shai Hope is the player of the match for his splendid knock with the bat. This is Thilak Ram signing off on behalf of M Venkat Raghav and Chandan Duorah. Do join us for the next game, until then Good night and Wees Voorzichtig.

Anon: "The value of 4-day cricket, and being in form. These two scored tons in their most recent 4-day match last week. See how they have gone about. Pooran had a steady diet of T20 cricket, and it showed today in his shot selection."
