7.35pm After losing the first two games of the series, Afghanistan have bounced back strongly to force a decider on Wednesday. Today's victory was set up by big blows from Najibullah and Rashid - both batters struck at over 200. The bowlers then put up a collective effort to dismiss Ireland for 105 in their chase of 133 in a 11-over shootout. That's all we have for you from this game. Until next time, this is Deivarayan Muthu signing off on the behalf of Sruthi and Binoy George. Goodbye and take care
Nabi, Afghanistan captain: Really important for us to take early wickets and put Ireland under pressure. Najib played a brilliant innings and the team needed that partnership with Rashid. Rashid has the power to clear boundaries and is a good batsman at the death. We will keep it simple and the way Afghanistan are playing, hopefully we do well here.
Balbirnie, Ireland captain: Rashid and Najibullah are very hard to bowl too. We left a couple of chances there that could have turned things. We now have a decider to look forward to. The guys showed intent, but they [Afghanistan] have quality spinners. We are going to go to the World Cup where we will be in these must-win games. We rest tomorrow and come at them on Wednesday.
Rashid Khan is the Player of the Match: I think it was a hard couple of games, but I had a one-month off and didn't play much cricket. I think the team needed that 20-25 runs from me at the end. We just tried our best to stay calm and anything 120-plus was the target. But the way Najib played, great partnership... I want to dedicate this Man-of-the-Match award to Farid Malik who has come back and bowled well.
JB Little run out 0 (8m 0b 0x4 0x6) SR: -
Hamid Seddiqi: "So the story of the game is that Rash got his first wickets in the series, but Stirling still to wait for his 3000 runs .. and we are up for an exciting final game ..."
Ireland need 32 off the last over. Mujeeb to bowl the last over. Nabi has a chat with his bowler. Dockrell has the strike for the home team
Azweer : "Dockrell need to do a Carlos Braithwaite to complete with a win.."
