Scorer: K Vairavan | Commentator: Ekanth and Danyal
Pakistan's middle order came through after a shaky start to hand the series win. Can they go one step ahead and get a clean-sweep? Or will Sri Lanka turn things around in two days? For now, it's goodbye from me, Ekanth, on behalf of my fellow commentator, Danyal Rasool, and our scorer, Vairavan. Stay safe and take care.
Bismah Maroof, Pakistan Captain: Our performance was good, we are backing youngsters and they're doing well. Tuba and Ayesha have done brilliantly in the first and second games respectively. I hope they continue doing so in the future. We will discuss possible changes for the third game and decide accordingly.
Chamari Athapaththu, Sri Lanka Captain: We thought of getting 130. I got out early and our batters struggled. They bowled well. T20s are won by boundaries but we couldn't. They did that well and rotated strike well too. We have commonwealth games and will have to prepare and play well in the next game.
Ayesha Naseem, POTM for 45* (31): Plan was to play sensibly. I waited for the right ball to attack and play to my strengths. Bismah guided me well through in the middle.
SM: "SL took it close with 29 required of 30. But 2 good overs from Pak have changed it completely."
4:48 pm: Ayesha jumps in delight and fist pumps as she help clinch the series, The batters shake hands with their opponents who are in good spirits, accepting the result graciously. The children are in smiles and applause. Sri Lanka started the chase well with early wickets. Bismah took it slow and Ayesha steadied the ship. She got two good overs in the middle and two at the end to clear the game. Oshadi and Achini bowled well. The spinners were good in the middle but 102 was too small a score to defend.
This should be the final over and will be bowled by Oshadi from over the wicket
END OF OVER:17 | 12 Runs | PAK-W: 100/3 (3 runs required from 18 balls, RR: 5.88, RRR: 1.00)
