It's just one day's rest for Australia before they take on England in Perth on Sunday. West Indies will face UAE in Melbourne on Monday in a practice game ahead of the first round of the World Cup. Gansher's report is up. Alex's piece about the Steven Smith conundrum should be up soon as well. Do check them out. For now, that's all from our side. See you soon.

Aaron Finch: Davey was the different, and Tim David. There was enough in the pitch for everyone. [On batting order] There is a method to everything we do. Still plenty of learnings. It's about managing our way to the World Cup. We want to play aggressive but at the same time we want to manage well with long flights and short turnaround times.

Nicholas Pooran: Congratulations to Australia, they played better cricket. We are getting accustomed to the conditions, putting our ego aside and working on the team plans.

David Warner is the Player of the Match, as well as the Player of the Series. "It was a fantastic all-round performance, well executed by our bowlers," he says. "At the halfway mark we had discussed about bowling Test match lines and lengths, and they nailed them. [on opening with Green] He is a bit like me. Think he is going to have a big impact in the future."

9.52pm A comprehensive 31-run win for Australia in the end. It was set up by Warner's 41-ball 75 and David's 20-ball 42. Starc then removed Mayers in the first over itself to jolt West Indies' chase. He would finish with 4 for 20, his best figures in T20I cricket. Hazlewood didn't pick up a wicket but was even more economical, giving away only 19 from his four. And that also brings an end to this series, Australia wrapping it up 2-0.

Australia have run out of the permissible time to bowl their 20 overs. So the slow-over-rate penalty kicks in for them too. That means they can have only four fielders, instead of five, outside the 30-yard circle
