3.1 Warner gone as well, Henry strikes again! Almost like a mirrored replay of Finch's dismissal. Warner gets the toe end of the bat while trying to go downtown again, but all he can manage is a leading edge into Williamson's hands again 7/2
1.2 straight to mid-off, Finch gone for a duck! He gets one fuller, he tries to break the shackles by clearing mid-off with a lofted drive but doesn't. Williamson takes a couple of steps back towards his right and grabs it easily around shoulder height. The rut continues 0/1
36.3 Smith has skied it this time with a leading edge, Boult comes under it at mid-on, and takes it comfortably. Another big wicket gone, and this was the final one. Smith flicked this length ball outside off wildly into the leg side, didn't get in control at all, and his head dropped as soon as he mis-hit it, for a high catch to mid-on 117/8
6.4 loud, loud appeal all around, given out almost straightaway and Labuschagne reviews after consulting Smith. Swinging in from just short of length, hitting him right in front of middle and leg on the knee roll, no edge says Snicko, and it's hitting leg stump so it's three reds. First strike for Boult and Australia are three down 22/3
8.3 very very loud appeal, it's still going on, and finally the finger goes up! Stoinis also reviews after chatting with Smith, but looked plumb real time, even more than Labuschagne's. Pitching on middle, swinging in, no edge, ball-tracking says it's ramming into middle of middle. Stoinis gone for a duck 26/4
18.3 Has Santner got Carey stumped? Carey shapes early for the reverse sweep, more a switch-hit, though he doesn't change his grip. Santner cleverly slips it quicker around middle and leg and he misses it completely. Latham swiftly collects it down leg and disturbs the stump. Does Carey have anything behind the line? He almost began walking as the TV umpire was called for. Geez! Very close, not easy being a third umpire for such a call. On-air commentators feel there's nothing behind the line but I think there might be just enough behind for Carey to get the benefit of doubt. Nope, the red light comes up and he has to walk back. No wonder Latham knew it almost immediately as he ran in celebration. 54/5
32.5 Huge wicket as Maxwell holes out! Boult gets his man again. It is a length ball angling in on off, Maxwell looks to tonk it across the line but seems to have got a top edge towards midwicket. Guptill runs in from the deep, covers good ground and puts in a dive to take that safely. Massive strike with the death overs approaching. 103/6
35.5 taken at cover, superb catch by Santner! Short and wide, Abbott is tempted by the room and he swings to free his arms, slams it straight to cover where Santner leaps to grab it with both hands above his head 111/7

43.6 taken at extra cover this time, Zampa is gone! He's been trying to make room often and target the off side by clearing the in-field. He tries that again, drives it over but Neesham dives forward right at the edge of the circle to get his hands under it just in time 148/9

0.5 And gone! The missed chance does not cost Australia and Guptill is down on his knee looking at what he has done. This is full and well wide of off. Guptill cannot resist reaching out for the drive. Ends up getting a thick edge that Finch gobbles in front of his face. Early wicket for Australia, just what the doctor ordered. 2/1
8.2 Catching practice for Zampa! He seems to suggest that he barely spotted in the background of floodlights but has hung on. Abbott strikes second ball, Conway walks back. Conway's attacking intents were visible in the last over. Seeing a shortish ball, he gets inside the line to whip it across. Makes way too terrific a contact to find the lone fielder at fine leg. Conway fails to convert his slow start to something big. 14/2
18.1 lbw off a full toss bowled by a spinner, would you believe it! What's going on in this match! Williamson has reviewed so we'll get a few replays to try and make sense. A dipping full toss that hits Williamson on the bent back pad flap right in front of the stumps as Williamson missed the pull. Generously flighted that probably went above the eye line, dipped towards off and middle, drifted in as well, no edge, and...wait for it....it's just hitting the base of leg stump according to ball-tracking. Umpire's call, so Williamson has to go. He's stunned himself how he missed that and he reviewed also very reluctantly 33/4
8.5 Two wickets in the over! Abbott on a roll and Australia come roaring back in Cairns. Slants this away on a length. Having made Latham play the previous two balls, he is tempted to having a poke at that. And that proves fatal as the outside edge is happily gobbled up by Finch at slip. New Zealand are under the pump. 14/3
20.5 another one trapped by Zampa as Mitchell misses the reverse sweep. Mitchell reluctantly chats with Bracewell and decides to review. Lovely drift from Zampa to bring it towards the stumps, hits the front pad right in front of off after Mitchell misses it, looks like it's going straight, let's see. Ball-tracking says it's pitching on off and hitting off, gone! 38/5
25.1 make that seven down, inside edge or not, Starc has a wicket! Nipping in from length, Bracewell swings down the ground, edges it onto his pad right in front of the stumps, and it's taken by Maxwell diving forward from backward point as it lobs in the air off the pad. The appeal might have been for lbw first, but he's been given caught out. HotSpot confirms the edge 54/7
21.6 flicked to short midwicket, another catch for Finch! Seven runs already off the over and Neesham still tries to flick this one in the air, there's the captain waiting at short midwicket and he just has to time his jump properly to grab with both hands. Stoinis roars and the Cairns crowd gets behind him 45/6

26.4 sneaks through and hits off stump! The wronng'un came in from outside off, Southee played for the legbreak and missed it completely as the ball snuck in sharply and hit off stump 57/8
30.1 Easy-peasy! Zampa's on a roll tonight. Bowls a half-tracker around off, Henry goes back to lift it over midwicket but finds the leaping Agar there. 72/9
32.6 Trapped lbw! Boult opts for the DRS. Tossed up wrong'un, full in length, Boult goes for the slog but misses and seems to be struck in front of the stumps. Umpire's call on impact but is hitting the stumps. Five-wicket haul for Zampa to close out the match. 82/10
