Scorer: K Vairavan | Commentator: Himanshu and Ekanth

The stop-start-athon has come to an end. It trapped time and splurged it away. At the end of the day, both teams have one win each going into the third game. Himanshu and I will be there to call the action again. See you then. For now, it's goodbye from us and our scorers, Vairavan and Thilak.

Tom Latham, New Zealand Captain: It was a fantastic performance. Finn was fantastic but we did not build partnerships. We had belief with 212, to get them 6-down in the powerplay was great. With Trent going down, there was a scare. We knew they would keep coming. Our guys stuck in it nicely, happy with the result. (On Finn) He's powerful and devastating on his day. But him buckling down deserves full credit. From the position we were in after Mitchell's partnership, we should have done better. But we will get together as a group and figure out a way to get through it.

Nicholas Pooran, West Indies Captain: Very pleased with the bowling. They have been disciplined and consistent. Disappointed with the powerplay wickets. Carian and Joseph's partnership was a bit too late. One good stand among the top order could have brought us to the win. Carian grabbing his opportunity with his allround game was great.

Finn Allen, POTM: (On missing out the 100) I'm happy to get the team to a competitive total. Left a few runs behind being dismissed with 10 overs to go. But it was good enough for the day. Mitchell was a calming influence and helped stick in the fight. I've always known I've got the grit in me but had never done it. Knowing now I can do it is good. They bowled well, the wickets have not been batting friendly. It's challenging and I've enjoyed it.

Matt: "Can you explain why WI had to chase the same target with 9 fewer overs?" Because West Indies had lost 7 wickets when the rain arrived with around 27 overs remaining.

Sarah : "What a tail wag from windies here. What an innings from cariah and Joseph. Windies should take heart from that performance. "

11 pm: New Zealand square the series. They were the deserved winners, but Cariah and Joseph's batting was gritty delight. It wasn't enough, but that was mainly due to Boult and Southee who took three each in their first spells of six overs. There was a run out a few overs later, a rain break, the target being reduced. Then came the Cariah-Joseph show. The 85-run stand didn't seem like it would bring them close, it didn't but it took them farther than expected.

Santner to Cariah, OUT, Taken at deep point! They're going to check the boundary catch but it looked okay. Allen ran to his left, took it, released it as he went over the rope, then came back and took it. The third umpire says his decision is out and that's the end. It was a good shot. Cariah made ample room, lofted a cover drive and got decent connection but couldn't place it away from the fielder.
