Thank you for joining us. Hope you enjoyed our coverage. It's goodbye from me, Sunaadh Sagar, and my fellow commentator, S Sudarshanan, and our scorer, Ranjith P

Chamari Athapaththu, Sri Lanka captain and Player of the Match: This win is really good for us, because we have an inexperienced side with young players. I tried to control the game. India is a good, experienced side, but we played to our potential today. Thank you to all the fans for coming - this is special for me because this is close to my hometown.

Harmanpreet Kaur, India captain and Player of the Series: Sri Lanka deserved this win, especially with the way they batted. We had partnerships, but we needed a better strike-rate. Thanks to the crowd for coming and supporting women's cricket.

4:47 pm Sri Lanka avoid a whitewash with a stellar display, as captain Chamari Athapaththu led from the front in a seven-wicket win, with three overs to spare. It's the first time Sri Lanka have beaten India at home in a T20I.

Chasing 139 once more, Sri Lankan nerves were a bit frazzled with the early departure of Vishmi Gunaratne. Harshitha Madavi stabilised things, before Chamari and Nilakshi De Silva put on a record 77-run third wicket partnership for Sri Lanka. It effectively sealed the game for the hosts, as they could count on an incredible 48-ball, unbeaten 80 from Athapaththu to take them home.

For once, the Indian bowlers were found wanting, but questions remain over the pacing of their batting efforts, especially on a surface that had little for the bowlers. It's a 2-1 series win, but it only has thrown up more questions for an Indian side ahead of the Commonwealth Games at the end of this month.

Tinura: "There was some great signs for SL in batting front recently. That was batters like Nilakshi, Vishmi and Harshitha making big contributions with the bat other than Chamari. Hope this will convert into a very good SL team in near future.."
