10.35pm: A tall chase turns out to be too much for Giants. They suffer their first defeat, while MIE are on the board after losing their opening game. The men in blue were indebted to the captain, Nicholas Pooran, and some muscular finishing from Tim David as they rampaged through the back end of the MIE innings, ultimately leaving Giants with too much to do.
