What looked like an easy chase for Giants was made difficult by Capitals spinners Raza and van der Merwe, who shared five wickets between them to trigger a collapse. But Cox stayed till the end to take the team past 132. Raza's 47 with the bat also went in vain for Capitals, who endured an early collapse. With this result, Giants move from fifth to occupy third spot. Capitals remain second on the points table.
