So, that's all from the first game of the double-header, Shashwat has fired up commentary in the second game between Sharjah Warriors and Desert Vipers so you may hop over to that tab. It's goodbye and goodnight from me, Rvel Zahid
MI Emirates gyrate towards convincing victory by eight wickets with an utterly professional performance. They were riding high on confidence and were always ahead in the game. Fielding was a massive contrast between the two teams as MI held onto their catches, whereas Knight Riders seemed lost and bogged down once Muhammad Waseem and Kusal Pererawent berserk in the powerplay and then slammed half-centuries to break the back of the chase. Knight Riders got a decent score on the board on the back of Andre Russell's staggering knock of 47 down the order but they were struggling with the bowl from ball one and never really applied pressure. The supersub Ali Khan was brought in late into the attack, and Sunil Narine seemed a bit indifferent and ran out of ideas as his teammates were hammered for a barrage of boundaries.
