That's game one done. Dubai Capitals will take on Gulf GIants in Sharjah. Sreshth has started coverage and Giants will have ball in hand soon. Do follow the game, thanks for tuning in here. Take care.
Luke Wood, POTM (for his fielding!) - This has never happened before. I just tried to get under it, didn't think too much. He does a lot of work with boundary catches, coach helps with that, credit to him. You just try to take the catch and hope to get a team-mate for an assist. Glad Payne was there for Russell's catch.
Sam Curran, Vipers captain: It's nice to have taken a small break. Glad with how we played as a team. Things fell into place nicely. There is a lot of familiarity with coaches and players, nice culture among the team. We don't want to get complacent in a busy schedule.
Sunil Narine, ADKR captain: I think it was a good wicket and backed out batters to get the score anyday. When there's a short side, you try to attack it. They did it better. We didn't get into their middle. We lost 3-4 wickets in two overs, that's always going to put us on the back foot.
With four wins in four games, Vipers consolidate their position at the top of the table. Sharjah Warriors, who are behind them, have won two out of three games and no other team has more than a win. Vipers will be in the playoffs soon they can continue this run.
5:19pm: Vipers had a great total to defend, but ADKR threatened a comeback, thanks mainly to Clarke's fifty. But no other batter got going. The two brilliant boundary catches that Wood was part of were highlights. Hasaranga, Sowter were involved in the collapse that took ADKR from 83 for 2 to 101 for 8. A couple of run outs, no wides or no-balls either, showing that they crossed the 't's dotted the 'i's.
