6:05pm That will be all from us for this game. There is more ILT20 action lined up today, though, with the Dubai Capitals electing to bat first against the Gulf Giants. Do join Rvel for all the action from Sharjah. Until next time, this is goodbye from me and Ranjith. Take care!

Alishan Sharafu is the Player of the Match for his unbeaten 82, which came off just 47 balls!

5:52pm An exceptional run-chase, headlined by Sharafu, who smashed 82 off 47 and remained unbeaten. He started off slowly but grew as the innings progressed, accessing all parts of the ground and staying a step ahead of the bowlers. Imad played his part too, stitching together a vital partnership in the middle order. Russell's 10-ball cameo at the end would also have helped ADKR with their NRR.

Not quite the Vipers' day. They seemed a little short with the bat, and their bowling, apart from a few bright spots, looked rather dull. Shaheen did set the tone early in the powerplay alongside Amir but Mills and Shadab's inability to curb the run-flow hurt them. The six overs they bowled went for 81 and that definitively tilted the game in ADKR's favour.

Aryan Lakra to Russell, SIX, Russell seals the deal in style! Another drag-down outside off and Russell does not miss out this time. Sits back in his crease and clobbers it high and long over deep mid wicket. The Knight Riders beat the Vipers for the second time this season, and after two convincing defeats, they are back on track!

Aryan Lakra to Russell, 2 runs, shortish on middle and leg. Hurries onto Russell as he splices it towards long on. Mistimed it so badly that he could easily get back for two

Lakra comes on to bowl what could be the final over of this game

END OF OVER:
17 | 12 Runs | ADKR: 152/4 (3 runs required from 18 balls, RR: 8.94, RRR: 1.00)

Shaheen Shah Afridi to Sharafu, FOUR, lovely! Full toss just outside off. Sharafu steps outside leg early, opens his bat face and caresses it between backward point and short third man!

1
Shaheen Shah Afridi to Russell, 1 run, back of a length outside off. Russell clears his front leg and drags it to deep mid wicket, who was stationed quite straight
16.4

Shaheen Shah Afridi to Russell, no run, another off-pace delivery on a length outside off. Russell almost swings himself off his feet but only swats away a few flies in the process
16.3
0
Shaheen Shah Afridi to Russell, no run, slower ball on a length just outside leg. Russell has a massive slog at it and is beaten all ends up. The lack of pace did for Russell there
